Compress with DMSO and CS. Both are antiviral and the DMSO will
transport the CS into the virus.

1 part DMSO to 4 parts CS will make a 20% solution -- any stronger on
the DMSO is likely to be too
drying for sensitive skin areas. Keep the area covered with a cloth
wetted in this solution 24/7. Slight itching may occur initially while
Mast Cells are depleted of Histamine, this is normal and will pass.

Also BHT in oil will kill herpes. Buy bulk crystals, shake up in
organic oil for ten minutes to mix. One tablespoon of oil will hold
1,000 mg of BHT. It kills all envelope viruses. It has been used
orally as well, 500 - 1,000 mg per day for a month or more. This
treatment was first detailed on Keep Hope Alive by Marc Konlee (hope I
got his name right).

Taking antiviral herbs like Olive Leaf, Lomatium, St John's Wort,
Oregano Oil would also be helpful.

Taking the herb Chapparal orally for a month is said to eliminate
Herpes from your body entirely.

HI Paul,
Psoriasis (P) seems to have many reasons, thus many remedies that sort
of work for a while and then don't. Being a Lymie, I've found that P,
for me, is an expression of my liver being over-burdened and the skin
taking out the trash, and manifesting inflammation.

When I first started Salt C, my P diminished somewhat, then
plateaued and as I killed more and more Lyme, it was hard to do enough
detox to relieve the skin and things more or less returned.

I'd tried Milk Thistle, but it didn't do much, until this spring,
someone mentioned higher dosing and within 2 weeks, several of my more
recently-arrived patches completely cleared up! I was experimenting
with 3 caps a day. Now have gone to 4. (headaches appeared at
increase, then tapered off) Now my patches are more like clusters of
islands, instead of solid continents, and the rate of scale build-up
is much slower.

Stress, hot, humid weather, definitely don't help. Not scratching them
until they flake off and bleed is another thing. I've found that clear
packing tape, rubbed on hard with a spoon, then peeled off, will
remove scales well, without the bleeding, which I think triggers more
inflammation.
Argan oil, applied several times a day also seems to calm the skin a
bit. I put it in a small roll-on bottle (eBay) to make it go farther,
as it's expensive.

I'm convinced that P, like Lyme, can be a group of things, which would
explain why remedies work for a while and then don't, as secondary
fungi, or infections become the new insurgents. Just my opinion: not a
doc, just a Lymie lab-rat.

I tried Low-Dose Naltrexone for a couple months as that had been
highly touted for P arthritis, but to my horror, I had new outbreaks
on my face where there'd never been before, so quit.

My local pharmacist mixes a topical creme base with Gotu-Kola, emptied
from herbal caps, and that seems to help soften scales so they come
off more easily. I've tried that, along with adding Feverfew herb
powder to the mix.
I read the P sufferers are sometimes deficient in Fumaric acid, so I
tried that and it helped break 'continents' into 'islands' a bit, but
slowly.I still take one a day just in case.

Recently, this summer, I had small (o)-sized red spots with dry scaly
centers pop up in new places and feared they'd be new P, then googled
around and found that there is a certain form of strep rash that can
happen. I Rifed for all the strep in the CAFL list and the spots faded
away.
Colloidal silver seems to knock out some of the pathogens that might
be along for the ride on major patches.

This is a tough one! The old ad saying 'The heartbrak of Psoriasis'
wasn't kidding. The TV-advertised pharma has too many black-box
warnings for me. Anything that compromises the immune system,
especially for Lymies, is a step in the WRONG direction. So many
promising pharmaceutical that I resisted over the years would now have
entitled me to being part a many class-actions suits, that I'm never
tempted by their superficial fixes. If the remedy doesn't actually
work at the very basic cause, it's a waste of time, $$$, and possibly
one's ability to heal.

On other issues, I've had good luck with Chinese traditional
medicines, (TCMs) with some that are pre-made as teapills, for general
conditions, but the couple I tried for P didn't do anything, which
means they might have to be custom-made by an expert Chinese
herbalist, who can assess you personally, and I have none in my area.

Hope something here is of use.
Be well,
Léna

I agree with Zoe on the Shingles. Herpes virus interconverts between
species: Zoster (Shingles), Simplex (Herpes Type I and II) and Varicella
(Chicken Pox). It lives in the nerves and blooms under certain
conditions such as stress.

I love my SG6 because it will make at least a half gallon at a time, has
a stirring stick and water quality indicator, as well as a rheostat to
set the concentration you want the end product to be -- comes with a
calibration.

It is more expensive but I have been very pleased with the functionality
and do not feel that any less would make me as happy now.

My grandmother had shingles when I was younger, she and I both had

I was taking L-argenine prior to my outbreak and now suspect that

CS is so vitally important for just about anything concerning our

personally have the Silver Puppy and just love it. I chose it
mostly because it was less expensive. After several years of use I
have never been sorry. Some day when Im rich and famous I would like
to have the one that makes a gallon at a time. For now I am happy
with my quart. Once upon a time I bought one bottle of CS and it
cost 20$ for a 2 oz bottle, thats when I started researching generators.

best of luck to you and heres hoping you NEVER get the shingles.

Hi All,
I have bough colloidal silver on occasion I am interested in
learning about all the benefits of using it. I hope to one day make
my own but for now, can anyone recommend a good sourse to purchase
it? I do use it internal and external. Actually, my dog uses it more
than I do. I would love to hear about results of using it on pets.
My dog is elderly (13) and has had arthritis since he was 2. He's a
big guy at 85 lbs. He may be having some neurologic issues now and
has lost muscle mass and gotten weaker in the back end. I use a
boatload of supplements on him and he is treated holistically except
for a couple of minor pain relievers that I may need to bump up to
something stronger/anti-inflammatory. For me, I'm pretty healthy
except for gaining 30 lbs when I quit smoking last fall. I can't seem
to shake the weight. I'm 46. I had chicken pox as a baby and keep
thinking I need to do some research and prepare myself in case I get
shingles. I use a lot of therapeutic grade essential oils too. I
love them. I also use DE and calcium bentonite clay, some
homeopathics. Any help you can provide this newbie would be greatly
appreciated.

I respectfully question whether you are actually using DMSO if you are
not getting the garlic odor. That odor is from dimethylsulfide, a break
down product of DMSO in the body. DMSO is DimethylSulfoxide, it can only
break down to DMS, among other products. Some people do not experience
the taste or odor possibly due to their particular metabolism or detox
practices, such as using chlorophyll for example.

People that need to use a lot of DMSO or take it orally should
definitely try this method, if only out of respect for other people.

I think that second batch could have been further purified by doing
the process again, and perhaps adding a couple of percent (by volume)
of distilled water and shaking before refreezing to dissolve out the
impurities.

It freezes in the refrigerator, not the freezer. You don't want to
get it cold enough to freeze the water. Also, it works better if
there is not too much water in the mix. I don't know if it would work
with 50% DMSO and 50% water, for instance.

CSACS 200

2012-07-25 Thread Janet R. Perry

Anyone familiar with this product?

The label says:
-

ACS 200
Extra Strength
Advanced Cellular Silver
2 Fl Oz 200 ppm

Maintenance: 5 sprays by mouth 2-3 times a day
Higher Dose: 10 Sprays 4 times a day

Other Ingredients: nano distilled water

-

I would love to hear any feedback on what exactly this is. It does not
say colloidal or silver-protein anywhere on the bottle. When I called
the company the rep said he did not know if it was silver protein and
would have a technical person contact me. That was over a week ago and I
have not heard back.

This was recommended to a friend of mine by a nurse practitioner for
treating chronic Lyme Disease. He was told to take 10 sprays 3-4 times a
day.

My understanding, and please someone correct me if I am wrong, is that
any silver solution this high in concentration (over 20 or 30 ppm?) must
be silver protein or some other silver compound, in other words a
preparation that is not colloidal or ionic or monoatomic silver.

The ingredients list does say Other Ingredients: nano distilled water
which leaves me wondering what nano distilled water is?

Thanks for any feedback,

Garnet
