Re: [Skim-app-users] Another thing for Skim to remember
I agree. Default zoom as a setting makes sense from a user perspective. It doesn't make sense to have the pdf rezoom if you resize the window, but I think all Thomas is asking for (and me too, because I think this would be a useful feature) is to have an option for Skim use this zoom on the initial PDF open. Re: [Skim-app-users] Another thing for Skim to remember
You're confusing 'Zoom to Fit' and Automatically Resize'. One is an action (and therefore cannot be remembered), the other is a setting (and is remembered). But I ALWAYS want this to happen. Could 'Zoom To Fit' be made part of the things captured by 'Use Current View Settings as Default'? That would save a lot of time and effort for people over time because the document would automatically fit the page size. Thanks, Tom Thomas D. Christiaan: You're confusing 'Zoom to Fit' and Automatically Resize'. One is an action (and therefore cannot be remembered), the other is a setting (and is remembered). Ahh, interesting. So perhaps I'm suggesting 'Automatically Zoom to Fit'. I see that 'Automatically Resize' does the 'Zoom to Fit' (which is what I want). So could 'Zoom to Fit' be applied just once when the PDF is loaded at the start? Tom Thomas D.
