[Slackbuilds-users] spotify dependencies

2024-04-28 Thread Edinaldo P. Silva
Hi, since i stopped maintaining the spotify script, i think that perhaps
its dependencies ( ayatana-ido, libayatana-indicator,
libayatana-appindicator and libcurl-gnutls ) should be maintained by the
current maintainer or whoever wishes...

cheers,

[Slackbuilds-users] bleachbit vs localepurge

since bleachbit is better than localepurge to clean system locales, i think
is better remove localepurge from SBo or made him orphaned for now...

Re: [Slackbuilds-users] compton/picom SlackBuild

2020-03-18 Thread Edinaldo

Hi guys,

Picom is a fork of Compton, some files have the same name in Compton
SlackBuild:

--> /usr/bin/compton (symlink) was found in another package. Skipping.
--> /usr/bin/compton-trans (symlink) was found in another package.
Skipping.

--> /usr/bin/compton-convgen.py was found in another package. Skipping.
--> /usr/share/applications/compton.desktop was found in another
package. Skipping.
--> /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/compton.png was found in another
package. Skipping.
  --> /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/compton.svg was found in
another package. Skipping.

Recently i made a SlackBuild for this and only work in Slack Current, not
in 14.2.

If you have interest i can send the entire script for you, i don't have
interest in maintain it.

Hi James,

Yes, you're right and i apologize for this!

When i updated the scripts i only checked at https://www.youtube.com/html5
if the .h264 codec support was enabled, not opening videos.

Now i ran the tests with version 0.31.5 in browsers:

Opera Developer = 59.0.3147.0 (for the next update)
Opera = 56.0.3051.104

All works! i will send a update for this.

* I do not use Opera anymore, i use only google-chrome|chromium and
opera-legacy.

[Slackbuilds-users] Bleachbit Slackbuild

Hi all,

It looks like the bleachbit script maintainer has not been active since
2015, i tried to contact it for more than a month and there was no return.
If possible i would like to keep this script.

The following scripts are maintained by the same maintainer:

academic/gresistor
audio/soundconverter
desktop/cairo-dock-plugins
desktop/cairo-dock
development/energia
games/playonlinux
graphics/shotwell
libraries/gnome-media
libraries/gnome-vfsmm

libraries/libgnomemm
libraries/libgnomeuimm
libraries/libsuinput
misc/gourmet
python/gnome-python-desktop
python/python-elib.intl

According to repology, 10 scripts are outdated:

Re: [Slackbuilds-users] Upgrading packages with sbopkg and queue files

2018-04-20 Thread Edinaldo
You can processs the queue file with options -k (skip installed) and -i
(install), example:

# sqg -p wireshark
# sbopkg -k -i wireshark

* when asked, press Q to process the queue and next press P:

In this case, all dependencies that are already installed will be ignored,
see that only qt5 and wireshark will be installed:

http://dpaste.com/309P2A9

On the other hand, if you process the queue without the -k option, all
scripts will be reinstalled (NOTE: i press Q to process the queue):

http://dpaste.com/1R28JYB

However, when a script is installed use the -k option, it will have no
effect:

~ » sudo sbopkg -p | grep leafpad
leafpad-0.8.18.1-x86_64-2_SBo

~ » sudo sbopkg -k -i leafpad
No valid packages found. Exiting.

[Slackbuilds-users] mpd and libupnp

2018-04-17 Thread Edinaldo

Hy guys!

This error occurs when i try to build mpd on 14.2 (and when libupnp 1.8.3
is

installed):

"
In file included from src/lib/upnp/ClientInit.hxx:25:0,

"

Is the same error explained here:

https://github.com/MusicPlayerDaemon/MPD/issues/155

I found two solutions for this:

1. add --disable-upnp option on mpd.SlackBuild

or

2. updating SlackBuild to version 0.20.18

In this case:

DOWNLOAD="https://www.musicpd.org/download/mpd/0.20/mpd-0.20.18.tar.xz;
MD5SUM="8dc87ba95473fd738f2aff9bd69cc212"

Hello, another alternative would be the SlackOnly repository (which you
can use if you know how to configure slackpkg++, in any case follow the
list of links:

deps:

https://packages.slackonly.com/pub/packages/14.2-x86_64/libraries/libxkbcommon/libxkbcommon-0.7.1-x86_64-1_slonly.txz

* you can build all of them, and download only the qt5 package if you wish.

[Slackbuilds-users] decklink-sdk

2017-12-26 Thread Edinaldo

Hi guys!

Seems that the source code for SlackBuild ' decklink-sdk ' (
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.2/development/decklink-sdk/?search=decklink-sdk
) is not available anywhere, even at http://slackware.uk/sbosrcarch.

So... i have two suggestions:

1. removing this from the SBo since it is not a hard-dependency for any
SlackBuild (only as optional dep for FFMPEG).

Some quotes (same problem):

http://lists.slackbuilds.org/pipermail/slackbuilds-users/2016-February/015686.html
https://www.mail-archive.com/slackbuilds-users@slackbuilds.org/msg13004.html

Or

2. (if possible...) downgrade for previous versions, like available at
Ponce's repos:

http://ponce.cc/slackware/sources/repo/Blackmagic_DeckLink_SDK_10.1.4.zip

http://ponce.cc/slackware/sources/repo/Blackmagic_DeckLink_SDK_10.8.5.zip

[Slackbuilds-users] thunar-archive-plugin deps

2017-02-19 Thread Edinaldo

We recently saw a topic here:

https://lists.slackbuilds.org/pipermail/slackbuilds-users/2016-December/017685.html

The fact is: xarchiver is not necessair for build thunar-archive-plugin,
and him or

file-roller works well with thunar-archive-plugin.

So... why not remove xarchiver as dep and listed him or fille-roller (or
both) in README

as optional dep?

* outside this, file-roller is much more faster than xarchiver for create
packed files.

In my *Box install .. from XFCE i have only the following packages
installed:

Thunar
thunar-volman
exo
libxfce4ui
libxfce4util
libxfconf
xfce4-screenshooter
xfce4-notifyd
tumbler

and from SBo, this:

2016-12-05 Thread Edinaldo

Didier Spaier didier at slint.fr
Sun Dec 4 22:01:36 UTC 2016

A small thing could be confusing: the README says:
"Support for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and"
"Korean was first added in July 2014."
So the user might think that these fonts are included, but no.

Noto CJK fonts are in [noto-cjk](https://github.com/googlei18n/noto-cjk)

For now I suggest to just remove the quoted lines from the README, or to
mention that these fonts are not shipped in this package.

Re: [Slackbuilds-users] Updates - 20161114.1

2016-11-14 Thread Edinaldo

Hi all,

about last update, inform that are two occurrences for the rubygem sass:

rubygem-sass
https://slackbuilds.org/cgit/slackbuilds/commit/?id=d3865e39938408872643968507420e8df4954f44

and

ruby-sass:
https://slackbuilds.org/cgit/slackbuilds/commit/?id=31ff0b4507d27ec8d0d30e920135d5c0b68d696e

The Slackbuild rubygem-sass is a bit older here, but the same version than
my "ruby-sass"

So... i request the removal of "ruby-sass", and after that, please add the
"rubygem-sass" as

a dependency of the SlackBuild "numix-gtk-theme".

Re: [Slackbuilds-users] opera

2016-11-05 Thread Edinaldo

Hi all,

about errors on x86_64, the packaging may be made without the use of files
(opera and default), only using the contents of .debs.

Just discard the files (opera and default) and remove on the
opera.SlackBuild the following lines:

mkdir -p $PKG/etc/$PRGNAM/
install -Dm644 $CWD/default $PKG/etc/$PRGNAM/default

rm $PKG/usr/bin/$PRGNAM
install -Dm755 $CWD/$PRGNAM $PKG/usr/bin/$PRGNAM

* This affects opera-developer too, see the last log:

https://slackbuilds.org/cgit/slackbuilds/commit/?h=willysr=aaf5d009d8dbfe4b8edca7332088b1ffb4286204

[Slackbuilds-users] Mutagen and Quodlibet SlackBuilds

2016-06-18 Thread Edinaldo

The SlackBuild "quodlibet" is a long time without updating, this is fact,
actually in a 2.4.1 version on SlackBuilds.

In new versions, e.g., 3.6.2, some things are necessary for the correct
compilation of program. Among them, this requires the version 1.32 of
SlackBuild "mutagen" whose link and MD5 hash are:

DOWNLOAD =
"https://bitbucket.org/lazka/mutagen/downloads/mutagen-1.32.tar.gz;

MD5SUM = "349b987d26dbf15f64919f80c060eb14"

Regarding SlackBuild "quodlibet" you must modify the file quodlibet.info
in REQUIRES line to the following:

REQUIRES = "gst-plugins-bad gst-python gst-plugins-ugly mutagen"

And add the following in the README file:

Optional dependencies: feedparser, musicbrainzngs.

Given the above, i would become the maintainer of SlackBuild "quodlibet"
if possible (and if no objections).

Follow the SlackBuild attached which was tested on a clean install of
Slackware -current with branch "master" instead of 14.1.

My suggestion is: use the Fedora repositories whenever possible. Debian
repositories

are very good to look for patches, diffs, etc.

[Slackbuilds-users] libtorrent and cppunit

2015-09-20 Thread Edinaldo

Are new versions for libtorrent and rtorrent in:

http://rakshasa.github.io/rtorrent/

and:

https://github.com/rakshasa/libtorrent/releases
https://github.com/rakshasa/rtorrent/releases

But MD5s are differents for both.

I get sources from http://rakshasa.github.io/rtorrent

http://rtorrent.net/downloads/libtorrent-0.13.6.tar.gz
http://rtorrent.net/downloads/rtorrent-0.9.6.tar.gz

MD5SUMS:

66f18044432a62c006c75f6d0bb4d7dc libtorrent-0.13.6.tar.gz
5e7550f74e382a6245412c615f45444d rtorrent-0.9.6.tar.gz

And build both on Slack Current:

http://hastebin.com/moboriwuna
http://hastebin.com/zahulelacu

If someone with Slack 14.1 could test... it would be great!

It would be enough to change the versions and MD5SUM and
return homepage to: http://rakshasa.github.io/rtorrent/

[Slackbuilds-users] Updates - 20150829.1

2015-08-30 Thread Edinaldo

If approved, i can submit (already tested) the SlackBuild to use:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/tta/files/tta/ttaenc-src/ttaenc-3.4.1-src.tgz

instead of:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/tta/files/tta/libtta++/libtta-cpp-2.3.tar.gz

With source of libtta-cpp-2.3, we can provide (or not) a new package
called libtta, it will provide the libtta++ and encoder tta.

Using ttaenc-3.4.1-src.tgz, the present SlackBuild will provide the
enconder ttaenc, the same name of package, solving the mess.

Both (tta and ttaenc) works similarly:

http://hastebin.com/iyeyuritob

Forgive me this little confusion, had not seen the downloadable version of
ttaenc.

[Slackbuilds-users] OpenBox 3.6

2015-07-31 Thread Edinaldo

Any plans to update OpenBox script to 3.6 version?

I ask, because recently i made using two different methods, one simply
changing the version and another modifying version and applying some
Debian patches.

The results can be seen in the links below:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/75jgr8nufoyr8kv/openbox-not_patched.tar.gz
https://www.dropbox.com/s/30ebwzgev5r8iyv/openbox-patched.tar.gz

So... if the package maintainer is interested can use them.

After packing a new version of OpenBox, the following packages should also
be so:

lxappearance, lxappearance-obconf, obconf

If use the version with Debian pacthes, you may want to add the package
scrot as an optional dependency because one of the patches replaces the
gnome-screenshot to scrot when using the key combination Alt + Print.

Cheers...

Re: [Slackbuilds-users] sources for libtorrent and rtorrent

2015-06-23 Thread Edinaldo

nice tip!

the sources actually are in the Fedora repositories, so just to the author
or the rightful change the download links in .info files.

rtorrent:

http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/repo/pkgs/rtorrent/rtorrent-0.9.4.tar.gz/fd9490a2ac67d0fa2a567c6267845876/rtorrent-0.9.4.tar.gz

libtorrent:

http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/repo/pkgs/libtorrent/libtorrent-0.13.4.tar.gz/e82f380a9d4b55b379e0e73339c73895/libtorrent-0.13.4.tar.gz

* include something in sbopkg or sbotools would be an excellent idea. :)

[Slackbuilds-users] sources for libtorrent and rtorrent

2015-06-22 Thread Edinaldo

so guys... links for sources of 'libtorrent' and 'rtorrent' as down!

it's possible to change the *.info and put alternatives links?

they are:

https://github.com/rakshasa/rtorrent/archive/0.9.4.tar.gz

MD5SUM: 2e435f2cd7e1abe885dbeefb4bf22c10

and

https://github.com/rakshasa/libtorrent/archive/0.13.4.tar.gz

MD5SUM: 81125713b191c104bb7117e7bfcc3c11

* the MD5SUMS changes too.

see the logs at: http://hastebin.com/icoyuxarem

#

1) fix homepage on *.info to:

http://rakshasa.github.io/rtorrent/

2) for both SlackBuilds (libtorrent and rtorrent), change the line:

tar xvf $CWD/$PRGNAM-$VERSION.tar.gz

for:

tar xvf $CWD/$VERSION.tar.gz

and... add these lines:

sed '/AM_PATH_CPPUNIT/d' -i configure.ac
./autogen.sh

before the block text:

CFLAGS=$SLKCFLAGS \
CXXFLAGS=$SLKCFLAGS \
./configure \
  --prefix=/usr \
  --libdir=/usr/lib${LIBDIRSUFFIX} \
  --sysconfdir=/etc \
  --localstatedir=/var \
  --with-posix-fallocate \
  --build=$ARCH-slackware-linux.

3) complete build logs:
