[sniffer] Vircom Vopmail and Sniffer
Is there anything special I need to do to get sniffer to work with VopMail? I have everything in the way it is supposed to be but seems like it doesn't do anything. No mail is being put into the spam directory. I am using the agent.bat file as directed on the web site with the latest version of rules as downloaded. Do I need to turn something else on to get it to use the agent? This is the final version of VopMail before they switched to Modus running on Win2k server. RE: [sniffer] Tweaking our rule base
I would suggest taking a look at Nerd's (http://countries.nerd.dk/more.html) instead of Blackholes, they are much more comprehensive in their available tests, and they can all be with a single lookup, rather than one per country zone. Beyond that it can still sometimes be helpful to add rules that block matches to certain ISO character sets just in case the message comes from a non-foreign source. [sniffer] Tweaking our rule base
Hi, Whats the procedure for tweaking our rule base? We would like to catch anything from foreign domains. If thats not possible, I saw you had an option for catching the foreign character sets. I would be interested in the script if you are willing to share. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Pete McNeil Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2005 7:50 PM To: Matt Subject: Re[2]: [sniffer] reporting spam in bulk On Wednesday, January 5, 2005, 7:16:50 PM, Matt wrote: M> Pete, M> I've been meaning to add a link to a script from within Killer M> WebMail that will allow me to report things to you with a single M> click. This all sounds like a good idea. There are likely to be a few IMail/WebMail folks around for a while. This sounds like it's not for the technically timid though.
