Re: [Spacewalk-list] pxe install error

2019-03-02 Thread Bruce Wainer
During the kickstart install, you can only install programs that are part
of the base CentOS channel of which the kickstart tree is made. Your
screenshot shows that mpg123-libs..._64 is only available in the EPEL
channel. Instead of installing this package via the kickstart profile,
instead install it via the activation key that the kickstart points at,
since the activation key is when the EPEL channel is added to the system
(presumably, if you have it set to do that).

Re: [Spacewalk-list] pxe install error

2019-03-02 Thread Zhou, Rui A. (NSB - CN/Shanghai)
I have try serval times, it is always block by this package. But if I
reduce the package group install, it can complete the pxe install. If I install
too much, more than 2000 packages? of course, I don't think that's reasonable.
I want to know how can I download it from my admin workstation from the web UI?
Thank you!

I can see the package in the picture, but this also tells me, that this package
is within a channel, that the client needs to be subscribed to, so your client
needs to be registered to spacewalk while it's installing.

I did not yet do installations with kickstartable trees. Instead, I use the
normal "distribution" to install the client and register it to spacewalk in a
%post.

Would be interesting to know, if that package in the picture is the only
package in that channel that cannot be downloaded or if this was just the first
that failed and - possibly - all following packages from that channel would
fail too.

Just try to download it from your admin workstation from the web UI.

I dought that a login reset fixes an SSL verification error but if you're happy
now, all is good. ;-)
