Roland0 wrote: > not using itunes, so just general suggestions: > - check the server logs > - try adding quotes (#22) > - use JSON RPC instead Thanks for the suggestions. 1) There's nothing obvious in the server log. I have tried setting various options to debug and watching, but nothing ever seems to show the name of the playlist or any errors. Would you happen to know which option would be the right one to set to debug? 2) I tried %20 and %27 for double and single quotes, but no luck. 3) I could switch to JSON, but it's more complicated. What would be a valid JSON request for what I want to do? I've seen some in my research and tried a couple but didn't get it working. 4) Is there a way to query LMS to get a list of the actual playlist names in the Database? Presumably that's where the "itunesplaylist:" prefix is stored? Many thanks for your help. caes's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66305 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106523 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS saved settings
My trusty windows 8.1 PC died over the weekend and I've been spending the time re-installing all my favourite apps on my new Wn10 PC. I've managed to install LMS, but I realise now that when I accessed the control panel by right-clicking on the LMS icon in the tray, I think I've lost all my settings there. Things like my podcast feed and my rss feed addresses Luckily, I still have access to the old hard disk where I can access the data. Does anyone know if somewhere in the user folder (or sub folder) there's a file that contains all the settings? Maybe an .xml? Here's hoping Thanks Steve StevePalmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106527 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Thanks for all the inputs guys. I found the issue following Django's suggestion. My "working directory" for tagging etc. is on my PC. My "music library" directory is on the NAS. In order to debug, I had - changed the tags and filename of the third item in the playlist on the PC - recreated the playlist - copied the new playlist over to the NAS - but forgot to copy the changed music file over Obviously LMS when reading the playlist could not find the referenced file, because the changed version was not present on the NAS. When I tried to create a playlist within LMS, I noticed the filename on the NAS was strange. That's what I get for having a two stage process :-) Thanks a lot everyone for the help. jacobacci's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63932 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106525 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] m3u playlist not reading all tracks
To analyse the problem properly you need to attach the offending/working m3u files in a zip to a post - copy and paste will lose the encoding. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106525 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Hi, debugging should be pretty simple. Open the Folder where the faulty file is located in lms with browsemediafolder - play the tracks with lms and save the actual playlist with lms. compare the two playlists and find the difference. btw: is there any reason for the leading *..\* ? [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] m3u playlist not reading all tracks
Hi all I am using LMS 7.9 on a Synology DS1815+. Almost everything (including on the fly DSD to PCM conversion!) works great. A big THANK YOU to everyone that supports LMS 7.9 and keeps it alive. However, I have repeatedly been having issues that LMS 7.9 does not read all the tracks in a playlist. jRiver reads and plays all the tracks fine. The playlists have been created with Playlist Creator 3.6.2. In order for them to work at all in LMS 7.9, I need to open the finished playlist in Notepad++ and re-save it in UTF-8 format. Then most of the tracks are seen and played by LMS. The following playlist is causing problems. The third track is not being read or displayed by LMS. All the other tracks work fine. Does anyone have an idea what might be the issue? Code: #EXTM3U #EXTINF:759,Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus - Klarinettenkonzert K622 - 04 - I.
