Wow... while I never got a single ad yesterday, the first came in (and
stopped playback) about five minutes after I had left the desk. And this
morning (after my change on mysb) I just got three ads in a row - and no
interruption. There's hope! :-)

I'm sorry that I have badly neglected LMA. But it seems I'd basically
have to re-write the integration, or at least the data interaction. And
I'm not sure I'll find the bandwidth to do so :-(.

Not elegant, but it works - navigate to the show you want via browser,
copy the VBR M3U link and paste it in to Tune in URL in the Radios menu.

I upgraded from QTS 4.3.5 to the most recent QTS 4.3.6.0805 and after
that upgraded QLogitechMediaServer to 2.03.03 from the app center;
unfortunately LMS isn't working anymore – this is on a TS451-A which is
x86/x86_64, isn't it? Any advice, what to do?

In my case, yes. I clicked on the output option in the bulleted list on
the right, which puts that option into the 'Output Setting' field on the
left, then I clicked the 'Save' button at the bottom of the 'Change
Squeezelite settings' section.

It's reproducible - I tried again with both options before my earlier
post, and the top option definitely would not reconnect without a
reboot.

Same here. Not 100% sure it wasn’t my impatience but a restart brings
it up pretty quick. Happened on both QNAPs. All fine now. For those
not comfortable with Putty/command line, you can also stop/start in App
Centre.

PowerSave has 3 options (as well as 5 or 6 time periods for each
option): Off after STOP/PAUSE; Off after STOP; or Off ALWAYS. That last
one turns the given player Off after x minutes (from when you check
ENABLE for that Player in Settings), whatever it's doing, playing
included. So, that last acts as a Sleep timer.

Powersave is not a sleep timer its for turning off player after a set
period of inactivity.

Its (mainly) for people who have power amps controlled by the player.

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Cannot Set Sleep Timer from LMS for a Player?

2019-01-10 Thread agbagb

earthbased wrote:

Just seen this thread! I usually do Sleep via Softsqueeze (which brings
up an analogue clock face rather than a list of default times), but have
always wanted to be able to do Sleep via LMS Web Interface.

In fact I've just found that the old POWERSAVE plugin does this (i'm on
7.7.6 - 1521467459). You have to use it via LMS SETTINGS rather than on
the main interface, but that's OK. I find it handy as I have a fairly
complex set of players in different rooms, and it's often easier to put
everything "to bed" from LMS at the end of the day. While of course
Softsqueeze can do the same, LMS does it with slightly fewer button
pushes.

Only problem - unless I'm doing something wrong - is that Powersave when
activated, stays activated until you disable it. So if you set it to
turn off a player after, say, 60 minutes, it will then do that every
time you start the player, unless manually disabled. Other SLEEP
options (on the player, the remote, Softsqueeze) default back to
Disabled when a given sleep command has been executed; which makes more
sense
