Thanks for the swift reply Michael, but unfortunately LMS 8 does the same. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Unable to seek within a track using TIDAL plugin
I have successfully set up the TIDAL plugin on mysqueezebox.com and I'm having fun trying out the hi res audio with a 1 month free subscription. It all works very well and I'm very happy except that when I try and seek to a certain point in a track, my players just skip to the next track instead. This happens all the time. I haven't found anyone else mentioning this, so I wondered if it might be some configuration problem. I have tried creating a custom-convert.conf file that uses SOX to transcode and that stopped the occasional stuttering I was originally hearing, but this problem existed before that change. I can't see any relevant entries in the server log. I'm running LMS v7.9.3 on Windows Server 2012 streaming to Squeezebox Booms and a Squeezebox Receiver and they all have the same problem. Any thoughts on things to try would be much appreciated, thank you. bitsubatsu's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70679 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112955 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

If the problem has gone away - the cause of the original problem may have been something left in a cache somewhere. Remember because of a UK court case - some station have been removed from Tunein/Radiotime so a saved Favorite for such a station will fail. Favorites can also fail if a station updates its URL and the Favorite has the "old" URL. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112934 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

I can build the latest ssl and I know it works because I use it for squeezelite and Net::SSLeay builds without issue but the tests fail as I've mentioned and the same happens if you install it anyway and try to run LMS. I'll spend some time in the coming days to see if I can figure out the prototype mismatch problem. I could try to reach out to andyg as well, if I still get no joy. I did a quick test to try and build openssl using the AS perl supplied gcc and it's a no go with gcc. Code: C:\Perl\cpan\build\openssl-1.1.1g>perl Configure Cygwin-x86 no-shared zlib no-zlib-dynamic threads Configuring OpenSSL version 1.1.1g (0x1010107fL) for Cygwin-x86 Using os-specific seed configuration Set up gcc environment - 3.4.5 (mingw-vista special r3) ** This perl implementation doesn't produce Unix like paths (with forward slash directory separators). Please use an implementation that matches your building platform. This Perl version: 5.14.2 for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread ** I've uploaded 2 zip files with the source and compiled binary files for the modules, so I didn't miss anything as I just did an nmake install of the modules directly into the AS perl site location on the VM. I think you only need what's in the lib and blib folders. I'd suggest we just add the modules to the windows nightly builds as it's pretty simple to revert the changes in git and spin another build if things go wrong. What specific time expiry issues are you talking about ? How did you diagnose it ? What URL are you trying to play ?
