Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Deezer app question

2021-12-05 Thread Michael Herger

Is there a working method to tell Squeezebox to play an existing
playlist? This playlist works in the Deezer web player and the Deezer
desktop app using the same free Deezer account.

The latest information I have is that free users are only given access
to "smart radio".

After installing QLMS 2.25 my error logs returned the same as mucbox's
issue and my Slimserver folder location was wiped too.

Code:

[QLogitechMediaServer] error: \e[41mThere is a error on Perl !\e[0m
  Error the [\e[41m/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer\e[0m] is not

QTS 4.x and QLMS 2.25 is not working for me, I had to downgrade back to
QLMS 2.21 by manually downloading the .qpkg from
https://www.qnapclub.eu/en/qpkg/545, uninstall QLMS 2.25 and then
installing QLMS 2.21, then worked but had lost all previous config.

It's an "Action": create new Action including "Case conversion: Mixed
Case". You can apply it to specific fields, e.g. %TITLE%, or _ALL.
Highlight files, run that Action, then Save.

I don't think so, but you can "Undo" any changes before saving.

Here's where to go. Click the Data tab and SQLite will show the rows in
the Tracks table then you should see the url column. Screen shot

Out of the box mp3tag will convert to upper case with a few clicks >

Select all files > Actions > Case Conversion.

In the screenshots below note "Bob Fox" and "The Blast" before and

Having had a quick look at that thread, unless you really, -really- need
to do something that either mp3tag or Tag can't do, and/or you're
a regex guru, I would avoid Grammartron, for fear of unintended
consequences (which may be hard to revert).

It's probably better to 'correct' the tags in the files, as that's a
once-and-for-all solution. (As wonderful as LMS is, you may not be using
it forever.)

Tx, I was only looking for an extension to the library scan, rather than
on-the-fly conversion.

I had looked at mp3tag but didn't understand how the Case Conversion
tool works, but it looks like I'll have to bite the bullet, as looking
into it a bit more, it appears other folks have done quite a bit of work
on this with a pretty comprehensive sol'n, aka Grammartron: Smart Case

An LMS plug-in would have been easier though as it'd mean the source
files wouldn't have to be touched, and so is rather a safer option.

Just upgrading the radio won't help with playing https streams. IIRC
The BBC changed a lot of their streams over to https so upgrading will
be an issue you will likely face as some services may become unavailable
overnight.

2. QTS 4.x and QLMS 2.25
