No, just playing spotify / and 192k mp3s from my library. I uninstalled the group player plugin because it caused too many headaches with player volumes. I'm also going to try rebooting my server. There's nothing that stands out.. at the moment. The server is a Win 10 box with firewall disabled and is wired gigabit connection. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Players disconnecting but online
I didn't know where to post this- I'm having issues with *some* but not all of my players dropping off LMS on a semi-regular basis. Sometimes it's a Radio or Controller, they show a BLUE wifi icon. Sometimes It's my recievers that show a DIM WHITE icon. At first I thought it might be signal but I have a fairly decent wireless router- and something I noticed, they appear online to my router, they have a DHCP lease, and they respond to PINGS, but LMS doesn't pick them up until I reboot them. Any ideas where to look? I am attempting to automate a few things which I'm finding relatively difficult and I'm wondering if anybody has any ideas. I'm open to even using a third party (like IFTTT or even windows task scheduler to hit a url) but I would like to set each of my players to specific volumes at certain times of the day. Right now I can set one player's volume at alarm time- but the synced players don't seem to be affected by it. And I can only set one volume for all alarms. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Problems with Split Artists / Albums
I know this issue comes up a lot- but I swear I've scoured the forum and can't find threads on it... I recently had to reinstall LMS, which rebuilt my music database from scratch, and I'm having split artists that didn't exist before. 9 out of 10 songs will be on one album, the 10th will be on a new identical album. With the exact same name, capitalization and spelling... The other problem is that I have multiple artists with different capitalization. Which is very frustrating. A third problem which I understand the cause of is some artists with "The" in their name are showing up as multiple artists: The Stills Stills, The I know the best solution is to "fix" my tags but with many thousands of songs it's a big task...
