My bad, I did overlook that request. Entirely my fault, I apologize. I'm just using Settings > Advanced > Rescan Music Library function: 22435 Now at 0612 it is again stuck in Endless Scan after having obediently launched another rescan at 0100. 22436 It baffles science. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] The Endless Scan
LMS 7.9 LMS 7.9 (and 7.8 before it) never seems to be done scanning, even when it appears that it is done. 22385 Always says "Rescanning Media Library" at the bottom. And on the bottom of the Home page, too. The media library is located on an external HDD attached via USB to a Windows XP box, which is sharing that drive out. LMS is running on a Linux box with the shared drive mounted on it. The scanner in 7.8 had to be manually stopped in order to browse my media library, at least that's no longer true in 7.9, making this purely a cosmetic issue at this point. But it would be nice to get the thing to stop the Endless Scan. Probably a setting I need to attend to. +---+ |Filename: Capture.PNG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=22385| +---+ JackElliott's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63479 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107191 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Thank you. I'll do that. I like how after selecting the plugin and Applying it, LMS says that I need to restart LMS for the plugin to take effect, but doesn't provide a way to do so. Seems a missing feature. I'll just have to SSH to the (Linux) server machine and restart the service. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Disable/Hide My Music browse options?
LMS 7.9 This falls into the "idle thought" category. I'd like to clean up the Home page of LMS. Is there a way to turn off/hide browser items under _My_Music_, like "Album Artists", "All Artists", "Genre", etc.? The only browse method I ever use is "Music Folders". How does MAC spoofing fit into this? Is LMS expecting the MAC address from my long-ago-failed Squeezebox to play my stations? I also don't understand why I need Pandora One to listen to my existing Pandora stations on LMS (via either squeezelite or Squeeze Player), but not on my Roku or the Pithos app on my Linux computer. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS doesn't log me in to Pandora
I was having this problem using an earlier version of LMS running under VortexBox. After having no problem playing Pandora, I started receiving "You must be a subscriber to use Pandora from this device" from clicking on My Apps > Pandora. So I reinstalled the OS (went to Linux Mint) and put on the logitechmediaserver service. It's fine, it is presently scanning my music folder and has found my players. But it also won't connect to Pandora, I still get "You must be a subscriber to use Pandora from this device" I am a subscriber. If I go to Pandora.com and log in with my credentials, it recognizes me. If I got to mysqueezebox.com I can log in with the same credentials. And in LMS I can put those same credentials into Settings > mysqueezebox.com and it does not complain. I also have a Pandora app on my Linux laptop computer ("Pithos") which connects to pandora.com using the same credentials. Same for the Pandora app on my Roku. Somehow, when LMS tries to connect to Pandora, it fails. Ideas?
