FOUND THE ISSUE: I was still logged into LMS on the old computer I was transferring everything over from - as soon as I logged out of that - and switched off "automatically run at login" - everything worked fine on the new computer. Incredible how much time you can spend trying to figure out an issue like this - thanks for the help Paul Webster. Here's another piece of the puzzle - when I add mysqueezebox.com account info on LMS Control Panel and hit "Apply", I get the following error message: "An unexpected error occurred while validating your mysqueezebox.com account. Please make sure network connectivity is working fine." I can log in fine on mysqueezebox.com - I've tried using the "I forgot my password" option from within Control Panel and created a new password - logged into MS.com fine with the new pword - went back to LMS Control Panel - added the new password - same error message. It seems like a firewall / network issue , yet Norton shows it as having full access. It's worked for years until now with the new version on a new computer.
