I'm using two Squeezbox Touches. One is connected to the router by Ethernet, the other is wireless. Neither one wakes up the server. Where is the WOL option? 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!' [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] How to make Windows 10 wake up out of sleep?
I'm currently running LMS on a Windows 10 machine. I'd prefer to have the machine sleep when I'm not using it. If I want to access LMS from some other device, how do I set it up so that the computer wakes up? 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!' (http://nvo.com/cd) Hours of free radical MP3s. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Installing on a NAS
I'd like to move LMS and my music library to a NAS. The Wiki on this topic seems pretty far out of date. Can anyone advise me on what type NAS I should get, and how to install LMS on it? I don't need anything fancy. 2 TB of disk space would be great. Even greater if it's an SSD drive. Will the Wiki instructions for Linkstations still work? 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!' Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 7.9.0 prevents Windows 10 from going to sleep
Sheesh -- Well I don't know exactly what I did to fix it, but it seems to be fixed now. One of the last changes I made was to go into the Prevent System Standby plugin and set the "Allow Standby" time to 5 minutes. Then I went into the Windows Control Panel -> Power -> Balanced plan settings, and set the computer to go to sleep after 10 minutes. For whatever reason, that combination of parameters might have fixed the problem. 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!' (http://nvo.com/cd) Hours of free radical MP3s. I'm trying to figure out how to install the SvrPowerControl plugin on a Windows 10 machine, but it isn't obvious from the giant 200+ page thread I'm looking at. 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!' [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 7.9.0 prevents Windows 10 from going to sleep
LMS 7.9.0 is preventing my computer (Windows 10) from going to sleep. I've searched the old threads on this, and tried quite a few of the suggested fixes, but no help. The only thing that works is disabling "Prevent System Standby", but I don't want the PC to go to sleep while it's playing music. I've got uPnP/DLNA disabled. My only device is a Squeezebox Touch. It's connected to the router by Ethernet, and the PC is connected to the router by Ethernet. An old thread suggested the Touch might be the problem, but I've complete powered it down, and I still can't get the PC to go to sleep, so I don't think that's it. There were some suggestions in the old threads that it may be a BIOS setting that needs to be fixed re Wake-on-LAN or magic packet settings. But I don't know what to do or where to go in the BIOS settings to do that. My motherboard is an ASUS Z170-A, running UEFI BIOS version 1702 x64. Any help? Thanks, Mike 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!'
