Thanks
I will check that thread
I have also tried the update from this thread to install openSSL 1.1.1
https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?115185-mysqueezebox-com-connection-problem=1035198=1#post1035198

But got into problems as usual :D

Thanks for the update in your post.
I followed the steps, but have problems with the "make step"

The link explaining the shared libs is broken.

Any idea how to correct?

This in my PuTTY session:

*gcc: error: unrecognized command line option
'-W1,-rpath,/usr/local/lib'
*Makefile:708: recipe for target 'apps/app_rand.o' failed
make[1]: *** [apps/app_rand.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/root/openssl'
Makefile:174: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2
root@NAS:~/openssl#

Guess it has to do with this in the configure steps:

root@NASDANIELSEN:~# cd openssl
*root@NASDANIELSEN:~/openssl# ./config zlib '-W1,-rpath,$(LIBRPATH)'
*Operating system: x86_64-whatever-linux2
Configuring OpenSSL version 1.1.1g (0x1010107fL) for linux-x86_64
Using os-specific seed configuration
Creating configdata.pm

THIS HAPPENS :

root@NAS:~# dpkg-reconfigure ca-certificates
debconf: unable to initialize frontend: Dialog
debconf: (No usable dialog-like program is installed, so the dialog
based frontend cannot be used. at
/usr/share/perl5/Debconf/FrontEnd/Dialog.pm line 76.)

This package may install new CA (Certificate Authority) certificates
when
upgrading. You may want to check such new CA certificates and select
only
certificates that you trust.

- yes: new CA certificates will be trusted and installed;
- no : new CA certificates will not be installed by default;
- ask: prompt for each new CA certificate.

1. yes 2. no 3. ask

THEN:

Trust new certificates from certificate authorities? yes

This package installs common CA (Certificate Authority) certificates in
/usr/share/ca-certificates. . Please select the certificate authorities
you
trust so that their certificates are installed into /etc/ssl/certs. They
will be
compiled into a single /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt file.

1. mozilla/ACCVRAIZ1.crt
2. mozilla/AC_Raíz_Certicámara_S.A..crt
3. mozilla/AC_RAIZ_FNMT-RCM.crt

A TOTAL OF 153 RESULTS
THEN:

(Enter the items you want to select, separated by spaces.)

Certificates to activate: 1

THEN NOTHING AND OPENSSL VERSION DOES THIS:

root@NAS:~# openssl version
OpenSSL 1.0.1t 3 May 2016

Thankful for all the help, all

Looks like this could work, based on other threads in here, but any idea
on how to install?
Not enough memory available in root?

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] NETGEAR ReadyNAS LMS install problems

2021-10-06 Thread NoRoDa

Hi

I have an Ultra4 and needed to install LMS 8.0.
So i did this:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS-in-Business/OS6-now-works-on-x86-Legacy-WARNING-NO-NTGR-SUPPORT/td-p/897021

That made it possible to upgrade to OS6 on my old NAS.

So no old version of LMS that I know of.
Problem is that due to something I don't understand, the LMS doesn't
appear on the "installed apps" list.
So I'm really not able to see anything about the installed version of
LMS.

But in LMS - settings - information I can see it.
Logitech Media Server Versjon: 8.3.0 - 1633117751 @ Fri Oct 1 22:38:05
CEST 2021
Operativsystem: Debian - NO - utf8
Plattformarkitektur: x86_64-linux
PERL-VERSJON: 5.20.2 - X86_64-LINUX-GNU-THREAD-MULTI
IO::SOCKET::SSL: 2.002
Databaseversjon: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0)

Not shure what the next step should be?
