I am a complete novice with Linux, can you explain to me where exactly this file is in the folder structure of the QNAP NAS? In /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/ or elsewhere? Is the intention to eventually have QLMS supercede QLogitechMediaServer? And one other observation - both QLMS and QLogitechMediaServer are using a different timezone to my NAS. For me in London both are one hour ahead of the timezone displayed in the Web GUI of my NAS, even after the end of daylight saving time. I know that timezone in a chroot environment is different to the root timezone and can be changed by making a soft link to the correct timezone file but I have no idea how to amend this in QLMS or QLogitcheMediaServer. I'd forgotten to check the performance setting, but after a bit of experimentation there seems to be <10% difference in scan time whether database memory config is set to normal, high or maximum and whether scanner priority is set to normal 0 or -20. Presumably this is because the CPU and memory resources in this NAS are more than enough for a smaller library. Thanks Digimaster for your ongoing efforts with LMS implementation on QNAP NAS. I've tried 1.08 previously and was unable to set it up, gave up quickly and waited for your next release. I have previously run LMS within Container station using Oyvindo's very helpful advice at https://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=354=123933, I gave up on this because it was unable to support Shairtunes I've just installed the 1.10 X86_64 beta on a QNAP TS-251 FW 4.3.4.0569 so far: - It installs OK but says 'unable to resolve IP address for mysqueezbox.com' during the installation process when prompting for mysqueezebox login (and subsequently if I enter this data via the mysqueezebox.com tab in server settings) - Music library scan works and I can connect to a Boom and play my music, great! - I can't update the plugin list to test various essentials (BBC iPlayer, Shairtunes) because when updating plugin list this message appears: Bad repository http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/bpaplugins/V154testrelease-repo.xml - Couldn't resolve IP address for: downloads.sourceforge.net Bad repository http://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml - Couldn't resolve IP address for: repos.squeezecommunity.org It looks to me like the QLMS 1.10 is not being permitted access to the internet from my NAS. Any ideas how I resolve this?
