I found the extensions.prefs also. For some reason, last time I tried a reinstall without the InstalledPlugins in the Cache I had to reset my 3rd party plugin selections, which is why I copied over from a backup of the Cache. Anyway, I see your point in not copying over to the Cache from a backup (and no longer am I backing up the Cache) If I need to reselect 3rd party plug-ins on a re-install, no problem with that, not like I reinstall all that often Thanks Tony SBTouch SBRadio Tony T's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34544 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112883 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Where are the 3rd party selections stored? I would have expected them to be in the server pref file, so that on a re-install the 3rd party plugins would be re-download. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS Duplicate Albums showing when also in a Playlist
Well, fixed the issue. I moved my library from a mac-mini to piCorePlayer, and for my playlists, i manually edited my playlist for the path of the files in piCorePlayer. Must have messed something up that was causing the duplicates. So, I built a few playlists, just with the relative paths i.e.: Code: /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 01 I Zimbra.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 02 Mind.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 03 Paper.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 04 Cities.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 05 Life During Wartime.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 06 Memories Can't Wait.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 07 Air.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 08 Heaven.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 09 Animals.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 10 Electric Guitar.flac /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 11 Drugs.flac Loaded it in LMS, then resaved and overwritten in LMS to get the LMS coding: Code: #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2001%20I%20Zimbra.flac #EXTINF:187,I Zimbra /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 01 I Zimbra.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2002%20Mind.flac #EXTINF:252,Mind /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 02 Mind.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2003%20Paper.flac #EXTINF:160,Paper /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 03 Paper.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2004%20Cities.flac #EXTINF:247,Cities /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 04 Cities.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2005%20Life%20During%20Wartime.flac #EXTINF:222,Life During Wartime /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 05 Life During Wartime.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2006%20Memories%20Can%27t%20Wait.flac #EXTINF:209,Memories Can't Wait /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 06 Memories Can't Wait.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2007%20Air.flac #EXTINF:213,Air /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 07 Air.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2008%20Heaven.flac #EXTINF:242,Heaven /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 08 Heaven.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2009%20Animals.flac #EXTINF:209,Animals /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 09 Animals.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2010%20Electric%20Guitar.flac #EXTINF:182,Electric Guitar /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 10 Electric Guitar.flac #EXTURL:file:///mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking%20Heads/Fear%20of%20Music/Talking%20Heads%20-%20Fear%20of%20Music%20-%2011%20Drugs.flac #EXTINF:312,Drugs /mnt/MUSIC/FLAC/T/Talking Heads/Fear of Music/Talking Heads - Fear of Music - 11 Drugs.flac Rescanned Library, and no dupes now. Set up one yesterday, and connection maintained on SB Radio via ethernet for over 12 hrs, so I'll call this a success. I'll get more VAP11G-300 for my other Radios, and hopefully there's not an issue with multiple VAP11G-300's (Wish I could get the SB Radio wireless working though) Things of note: Setup of VAP11G-300 is simple, but instructions could be better. No need for a 'hotspot', so disable on the VAP11G-300. Lights are BRIGHT. Can't just tape over, as it will block the vents, and anyway, the lights still bleed through the case Need to pop open the VAP11G-300 case (easy, it's just press fit), and place a small bit of electric tape over the LED's on the VAP11G-300 board. I forgot about a wireless to ethernet adapter that was previously suggested as I was knocking my head against the wall trying to get the WiFi working (it's most likely interference from my neighbor causing the problem). Googled, googled, and google some more and could not find anything else to try. The SB Radios stay connected for about 5 to 15 minutes, then disconnects from the Network. Settings->Advanced->Choose Wireless will reconnect, but then after 5 minutes or more, it disconnects again. I made no changes to my Network. I thought a recent Google WiFi software update was the cause, but I tried with an eero router, same problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated, after 4 days working on this, I'm out of ideas. You seem to be using a Radio with an outdated firmware.
Setting up a LMS with piCorePlayer (which is using LMS 8.0) and getting the message (SB Radio): "You seem to be using a Radio with an outdated firmware, not recognizing this version of Logitech Media Server. Please consider patching it." Followed the instructions to install the "Version Comparison Fix", but still getting the message. SB Radio and Logitech Media Server 8+ Unfortunately the latest Squeezebox Radio firmware (7.7.3) comes with a bug which prevents it from connecting correctly to Logitech Media Server 8+. It's version string comparison function fails to recognize 8.0.0 as more recent than 7.7.3. While the bug has been fixed years ago, the fixed firmware never got released. Unfortunately we're at this point not able to build a fixed firmware for distribution. But there's a patch available, which you can easily install on an existing SB Radio: On the Radio go to Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer, install the Patch Installer. The Radio will re-boot. Once it's back, go to Settings/Advanced/Patch Installer and install the "Version Comparison Fix". When done patching all Radios you might need to restart Logitech Media Server to make the warning go away. Enjoy the music on your SB Radio Tony SBTouch SBRadio Tony T's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34544 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112526 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS Prevent Sleep - macOS Catalina
Found the problem, fixed. The Prevent System Standby (v3.0) Plugin (line 27/28) uses the caffeinate with the -i flag (Create an assertion to prevent the system from idle sleeping) By changing the flag to -s (Create an assertion to prevent the system from sleeping. This assertion is valid only when system is running on AC power), the plugin now prevents my system from sleeping. Michael, can the Prevent System Standby be updated for this? Both the -i and -s command can be run for both assertions with caffeinate -is (you can see both are working with "pmset -g assertions | grep caffeinate" Tony SBTouch SBRadio Tony T's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34544 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111304 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Sorry about starting a new thread (missed this), but I'll ask the question here: Just upgraded to macOS Catalina Trying to get LMS from preventing sleep. Catalina is going back to sleep in under 2 minutes after a WOL. Could this plug-in be updated to allow the user to reduce the above? A power failure should not have corrupted the SD card more likely you had a power surge. Also unless the media files are on a large microSD (not recommended), I would just keep a backup image of the SD Card and keep the Cache on the media drive (and not the SD Card). Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Raspberry PI for LMS with network storage for PC and Mac?
What garym said. I may have overcomplicated the process with all my links :) The "Quickstart" way: 1. D/L the pCP4.1.0 Standard Version from: https://www.picoreplayer.org/main_downloads.shtml 2. Burn the image to the microSD 3. Insert the microSD into the Raspberry Pi and Power on 4. Find the IP Address of the Raspberry Pi / piCorePlayer 5. Enter the IP Address into any local computer's Browser You'll now see the pCP Welcome Screen, and you can now install LMS: https://www.picoreplayer.org/how_to_install_lms.shtml 6. Open LMS in your local computer's Browser with the IP Address in 4. followed by :9000 (i.e. http://192.168.xx.xx:9000) Tony SBTouch SBRadio Tony T's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34544 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109848 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

The pCP help doc's are quite good: https://www.picoreplayer.org/main_getting_started.shtml (Read through the tabs on that page: Getting Started, How To, etc, I found the How To tab had what I needed: https://www.picoreplayer.org/main_howto.shtml) Do you have what you need to burn pCP to the microSD? https://www.picoreplayer.org/how_to_burn_pcp_onto_a_sd_card.shtml (I needed to get one of these to use with my Mac to burn pCP: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009D79VH4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8=1) It will be easier once you have the Pi in hand.
