Well, yes I know but since I've changed the box it seems that I do not have the streams stopping as before. But you're right, it's difficult to understand what is happing without fixing the overall setup. Thanks for the Daphile information about AAC I was pretty sure it was supported. let's park the discussion the time I stabilize the setup. Thanks for your support ! Hello, A quick update. I had an issue with my Internet box and my provider replaced it yesterday. I need to see if I still have streams issue. By the way I'm pretty sure the players can handle the streams directly. How to understand way they stop (even when not synced) when stopping the LMS ? You said in the log... Hi, Thanks bpa for all this instructions. I'll try to conform the closest I can. By the way I have a question regarding the stream being played directly by the player. I've unsync the 2 players I have stopped one and only play the other on FIP stream using the plugin provided by Paul (http stream). The player is not proxied. When I kill the LMS server process than the player stops playing. Is it normal or have I missed a configuration somewhere ? Hi, Thanks for your time on this issue. LMS runs on a Windows 10 Pro PC connected using Ethernet to Internet Box (FTTH in my case) with a very high speed/low latency connection. No Wifi for that and the player is also connected using Ethernet. It may be on FIP side but I don't understand why I don't have pb with the late August version... I've tried the following configuration: - use version LogitechMediaServer-8.0.0-1598245934 - unsync the 2 players based on Daphile. - run both players and listening to FIP using https://icecast.radiofrance.fr/fip-hifi.aac (192 kbpsCBR, 48kHz, AAC) - no issue then - upgrade to LogitechMediaServer-8.0.0-1601380107 - run both players and listening to FIP using https://icecast.radiofrance.fr/fip-hifi.aac (192 kbpsCBR, 48kHz, AAC) - one player stopped 2 min after it starts - second one a couple of minutes later. Restarting the streams still synced then I've killed the LMS Server and both players stopped. then - downgrade to LogitechMediaServer-8.0.0-1598245934 - still synced and playing I killed LMS, both players stopped. then - unsync the players each streaming FIP AAC - kill the server and the players stopped So to me even if I play a stream NOT synced it goes thru the server... [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 8.0 & stream stops
Hello, I'm using LMS 8.0 on Windows 10 PRO ver. 2004. I update quite often to LMS 8.0 latest nightly builds. I found quite recently that the music stream stops (playing FIP or Radio Paradise) very often (may be 5 min, 15 but never plays more than 45/60 min) with the latest versions. I use Daphile players and Squeezelite-X with the same issue (different hardware). The versions I found having this problem are (at least): - LogitechMediaServer-8.0.0-1601030156 - LogitechMediaServer-8.0.0-1601129375 When I revert back to a version I kept from August: - LogitechMediaServer-8.0.0-1598245934 I do not face the problem and the stream is playing without interruption. Any idea? Thanks for your great work !
