I found that ticking boxes on the inactive menu section ( the Menus dropdown, pre-plugin install)- only affected the display on the Boom/SB3 and not the browser (or app - Orange Squeeze) menus that I prefer as the player interface. And after adding the plug-in as suggested, it is. Are you thinking something else is happening or there's something more to do or consider? It's nice of all of you to spend your time being patient trying to help those of us who are not so capable. Far more responses in a short period of time than I expected. I owe each of you a beer. Whether it's getting a new PC, a new smartphone, or whatever, there are the series of steps to do (that I never write down) that I always forget when the next occasion presents itself Setting up folder sharing on home network, enabling printers from new PCs, etc, I have to figure it out anew and rarely remember doing it the last time when I try to do something "normal" and it doesn't work. In this case, I'd upgraded to Win10 on the machine that runs LMS and acts as a headless home server and a number of settings for networking and apps were changed in the process, including this one in LMS, for whatever reason. I am using LMS 7.9.2 - 1567938514 on a Windows PC. When a Touch is the current player and using a browser, both Artists and Years are available selections in the left-hand column under My Music. When the current player is a Boom or an SB3, those choices aren't visible. Go to Settings/Player where you can configure not only what additional browse modes you want to use, but also what menu items you want to see. I suspect this is a dumb question. I've been a happy SB user for over 10 years, and I've recently bought several used Touches as future-proof backups. I am using LMS 7.9.2 - 1567938514 on a Windows PC. When a Touch is the current player and using a browser, both Artists and Years are available selections in the left-hand column under My Music. When the current player is a Boom or an SB3, those choices aren't visible. Is that the nature of the beast or do I have a setting wrong in the Settings section? Before you ask, yes, I have the Artist field complete in a collection of about 20K tracks of which 80% are FLACs and 20% are MP3s. All albums show up under Artists when a Touch is the selected player.
