Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Latest LMS nightly (10-19-18) not working - port 9000 error
My earlier post was wrong: It MAY BE the Debian updates that are breaking things, not the update to LMS 7.9.2. Debian unattended upgrades was updating in the background. So: - Debian unattended upgrades runs - but _no_reboot_of_Debian_ - I disable a couple plugins (TrackStat, TrackStat Playlists, UPNP, Entfernte Musiksammlungen) in LMS - I stop LMS service. Then I do: Code: sudo /usr/sbin/squeezeboxserver --d_startup which says: Code: Found SELinux - setting security context to: texrel_shlib_t for *.so files. So it is something with the new 7.9.2 that breaks, not a Debian update. Could you please try to run LMS manually from a shell? [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Latest LMS nightly (10-19-18) not working - port 9000 error
After upgrading to latest LMS using the LMS control panel I am receiving a "cannot connect to server on port 9000" error on the "diagnostics" tab of LMS control panel. The upgrade causing problem: LogitechMediaServer-7.9.2-1539967036.exe (also the previous nightly from 10-9-18 caused the same issue) I reverted back to an earlier version of LMS, system information below: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.2 - 1533033975 @ Tue Jul 31 14:08:13 WEDT 2018 Hostname: LMServer Server IP Address: 192.168.1.122 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Windows 10 - EN - cp1252 Platform Architecture: 8664 Perl Version: 5.14.1 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread Audio::Scan: 0.95 IO::Socket::SSL: 2.024 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1) Total Players Recognized: 8 I also double checked all the anti-virus and firewall setting and they are all set to allow LMS full access to port 9000, etc. Thanks in advance for looking into this issue.
