This album hasn't even been played and the first track appears 15 times I'm pretty sure it's a problem in your setup. Disable all 3rd party plugins and see whether you can reproduce the issue after a full rescan. If that doesn't show the problem, add plugins back. Well this is weird. I have just noticed these duplicated tracks. In library.db they both have the same timestamp back in 2013. I have another copy of library.db from April this year and the duplicate didn't exist then. If there's no pass for local files, then it's either a playlist only or online scan. But what would trigger the scan right after the restart? I examined the database and found the extra entries were added at Monday, April 12, 2021 7:24:23 PM and Monday, April 12, 2021 7:46:33 PM Looking at the server log the server was restarted at these times followed by a scan. I have to assume that the duplicate tracks always appear after playing tracks that I often return to otherwise I wouldn't notice the issue at all. As far as I can tell the duplicated tracks only appear for tracks that I have recently played. How would you play them? This seems to happening quite frequently. Very occasionally a track will appear twice in an album. Is it just me? I played the album earlier today and it only appeared once then.
