by the way, TALB is the tag field name for album title for mp3 files tagged in mp3tag (and I presume this is the name of the mp3 ID3v2.0 tag field for album title in general). no, LMS is showing the exact TAG as it was used by the tagging program. So, as i'm using mp3tag, it is showing 1:1 the same. So, it's clear, you're not using mp3tag for tagging CHANGE THIS! :-) No, just kidding. The point i'm trying to make, as mp3tag uses the ALBUM tag instead of the TALB tag, the TALB tag is nowhere in LMS but LMS finds the ALBUM tag. Why? because of an advice of Michael Herger, i'm opening a new thread. I have problems or do not understand the intention of a advanced search for Comment TAGs. In the search window, it's called "Anmerkung" (german for Description). And indeed, it's searching for the "Description" TAG, which is odd, because it's not widely used. My expectation was/is, that i can search for the widely used comment TAG. It's easy reproducable. If i use the extened search capabilities. There is a field called "Anmerkung" (in german). And if i have a flac file which has a TAG "Description" filled out (i have a few) than i can search for those content. It is NOT searching for the COMMENT tag.
