Looks like it is not there. So - set it again via Alsamixer and then sudo alsactl store pcp bu That still might not restore on a reboot but I think you can make pCP restore the settings that alsactl saved by using the pCP ALSA Mixer control (pCP web interface) to make a change then it will know that you have customised things and will do a "alsactl restore" on reboot. You might have to make the Alsamixer & store & bu steps one more time after that if using the pCP ALSA Mixer interface resets things. I suspect that it can be done with alsactl to save the configuration once it is working. However, if it is a distinct device name then you might be able to tell wavin to use that instead of the default input. hey thanks so much, so i went to alsamixer and there, i could go to inputs and was able to select in between line and phonograph. Selected phonograph and working like a charm.
