Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] QLogitechMediaServer for Qnap with QTS 4.2 or higher and x86_64/I686/X86 support !
Could be that MusicIP will not load on some Qnap systems. Try installing QOptware-NG, and then restart QLogitechMediaServer. I took version 1.09b out, because on some Qnap older systems there where trouble. Working on a new release, where it should be solved. The thing is LogitechMediaServer, stop support for Perl 32 bits from 5.20 and up. So have to go back to perl 5.18 or lower, to make things work. But almost there, to bring out the newer release with shairtunes support. yeomanspc wrote: > Just did a complete re-install of the backup NAS (changed all the disks) > - a 569pro on QTS 4.3.4 iirc. Oke well i'm using a ts-453a myself. You should check in the appcenter off you're QNap, if any of the meantion programs are installed. If so please uninstall them, before you install QLogitechMediaServer, to prevend any conflict. QOptware does not need to be installed, but add some extra functions like lame support and wma playback. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] QLogitechMediaServer for Qnap with QTS 4.2 or higher and x86_64/I686/X86 support !
* New beta for QLogitechMediaServer, 1.09.e QLMS 1.09.e == Changed Name to QLMS, so one can install it beside QLogitechMediaServer for testing purposes. To run it, QLogitechMediaServer, must be disabled through the Qnap app center. It will copy existing setting, if QLogitechMediaServer is installed. Due to the fact, that the was trouble with some older QNap nas systems. Completely redisgned the installion and startup script. The release will have separated files, for the different arch's. Also done this, to later add ARM support. The 1.09.e x86_64, has perl 5.24.4 and support for spotty and shairtunes. The 1.09.e has perl 5.16 x86 and also support for spotty and shairtunes. ( This because LMS has no support anymore for perl 5.20 and higher on 32bits. ) Furthermore tried to improve some functions. On a x86_64 one can change, between to different perl version. Go trouble go to .qpkg/QLMS directory and do [/bin/ls -a]. Then do rm .ELF??, and then .ELF??. ( depends what is there, you can choice between .ELF64 of .ELF32 ) Still trouble, try installing the x86 version, which also will work on a x86_64 system. Keep in mind, this is a really beta version. So keep you're QLogitechMediaServer installed. 'QLMS 1.09.e x86_64' (http://bit.ly/2w4NUvo) 'QLMS 1.09.e x86' (http://bit.ly/2MCIkHL) * * maintainer of QLogitechMediaServer, QOptware-NG and QAutoSub. After a lot off testing looking and investigations, found the trouble. Its a missing file in you're /lib, which is causing this error. On some older QNap system the Glibc libary is not compleet. Completely redesign it. And will on a new other way, so it will also work on older Qnap systems. But as I am very far, still needs a lot of testing, before I will release it. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] QLogitechMediaServer for Qnap with QTS 4.2 or higher and x86_64/I686/X86 support !
That a bit you`re own choice. Because out off the box QLogitechMediaServer, will update always to the latest nightly version off LMS. And sure one could have to adjust some thing some times, but its a choice one makes. On the other hand, one could disable this feature, or even go back to the latest officieel version always and only choice to update to a new officieel version when available. So reading you`re post, a bit surprised what you wrote, because it`s you`re choice to follow the nightly updates. You could simply change it, by changing NIGTHLY=1 to NIGHTLY=0 in the .QLMS.conf file. Then no nightly update will be installed anymore. And is you remove .INSTALLED file from the SlimServer directory, and them restart the latest officieel version will be installed. Our if you`re happy with the latest, and don`t want the auto update feature, also set UPDATE=1 to UPDATE=0 in the .QLMS.conf file. And still if you want to update it, but Manuel download the right file, and put in the download share off the QNap. Then after restarting the QLogitechMediaServer, it will find it, and do the update. Strangely enough, also those thing, are more then once explained here, and one could read it in the in closed readme file. So my suggestion to you would be. logon by ssh shell. Do (cd /share/*/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer 0, then edit the file .QLMS.conf. And change UPDATE and NIGHTLY both from 1 to 0, or put a # in front off those lines. Save the file, and then do ( rm SlimServer/.INSTALLED ). Now do ( ./LogitechMediaServer.sh restart ), it will set back you`re LMS to the latest officieel version, and all auto update features are disabled. yeomanspc wrote: > It really irritates me to have QNAP NASÂs sitting there in theory > perfectly capable of running LMS but then running LMS on a PI. * And here it is, a complet new release from QLMS ( formely know as QLogitechMediaServer. Totaly redesigned and a new way off work. >From version 1.10 it runs in a chroot, so it wont relay on any older software from QTS. Remember this is a beta version. And it was a big deal finding out al the proper solutions. Please test it, can be installed a side any other LMS software like QLogitechMediaServer, perl or ssots. I will need the chroot command to be availble, as thats the only commands i need to work! Having issues, please put in here with the QMLS.log and QLMS.log.err if it exist. 'QLMS 1.10 beta for QNap X86_64' (http://bit.ly/2EeWFuu) 'QLMS 1.10 beta for QNap X86' (http://bit.ly/2Nx5e36) QLMS version 1.10.beta === + Completly changed to a new way off using LMS + It will chroot lms, to get max support also on older QNAP nassystems ! + Through this no trouble on older Glibc support. + Has not conflict from other installed perl or software like SSOTS + MusicIP also will run in a chroot, so it also will have no trouble or missing some libaryś + Out off the box, no suppoort for the nightly beta releases. Can be adjust by editing the .QLMS.conf file in the QLMS directory !. - Remeber this is the first release, so still in beta delevopment ! Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
THE NICE'S THING ABOUT QLMS, IT CAN RUN BESIDE ANY OTHER LMS SOFTWARE LIKE QLOGITECHMEDIASERVER OR SSOTS/SSODS. AND YES ON INSTALLATION, IT WILL LOOK IF QLOGITECHMEDIASERVER IS INSTALLED. AND IF IT IS, WILL COPY THE CACHE AND PREF DIRECTORY! IF YOU WANT TO TEST ON A CLEAN INSTALL, STOP QLMS AFTER INSTALLATION. GO IN TO A SSH SHELL, AND REMOVE .QPKG/QLMS/SLIMSERVER/CACHE AND .QPKG/QLMS/SLIMSERVER/PREFS. AND NOW RESTART QLMS, AND YOU HAVE A CLEAN INSTALLATION. dolodobendan wrote: > I just installed it, because... Its a beta, so be patience. I think i found the dns error. Gone bring out a second beta to night 1.10.b1 But please remember, it took a lot off time, redesign it. There was a lot to read and find out. And developing it, in my spare free time. So hopefully you will install the next release. So i can get a good impression how its runs on other QNap systems. dolodobendan wrote: > There was chaos between these two aforementioned installations, so I > installed from scratch. > > It's not completely set up yet, but what I can say now is: > > + It feels much much slower now: The tab settings/plugin now takes ages > (~25s) to load. > + My music is no longer found. > > qlms.log: (I changed the 7.9.1 to 7.9.2 here and cut the repeating rest > to save space, don't mind the timestamps here.) > > > Code: > > > [00:48:10 13-10-2018] Please wait a few minuts, have to build QLMS from scratch ! > [00:50:43 13-10-2018] Upgrading QLMS to 7.9.2, please wait ! > [00:51:09 13-10-2018] Starting QLMS in the Background. > sudo: unable to resolve host Server: Connection refused > [00:51:18 13-10-2018] QLMS is started in the Background on [31759] ! > [00:51:18 13-10-2018] Please wait a few minuts, before you try to access the webgui through http://(IPnr Server):9001 ! > [00:54:21 13-10-2018] Stopping QLMS [31759] in the Background. > > > > > server.log: > > > Code: > > > [18-10-13 01:04:15.9556] main::init (387) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.9.2, 1539113931, Tue Oct 9 22:20:50 CEST 2018) perl 5.024004 - i686-linux-thread-multi-64int > [18-10-13 01:04:17.5523] Slim::Utils::SQLiteHelper::postConnect (374) Optimizing DB because of missing or empty sqlite_stat1 table > [18-10-13 01:04:17.7125] Slim::Schema::forceCommit (2147) Warning: Trying to commit transactions before DB is initialized! > [18-10-13 01:04:17.9290] Slim::Utils::SQLiteHelper::postConnect (374) Optimizing DB because of missing or empty sqlite_stat1 table > [18-10-13 01:04:17.9689] Slim::Schema::forceCommit (2147) Warning: Trying to commit transactions before DB is initialized! > [18-10-13 01:04:18.8340] Slim::Utils::SQLiteHelper::postConnect (374) Optimizing DB because of missing or empty sqlite_stat1 table > [18-10-13 01:04:18.8610] Slim::Schema::forceCommit (2147) Warning: Trying to commit transactions before DB is initialized! > [18-10-13 01:04:19.1691] main::checkDataSource (1110) Warning: Schema updated or no media found in the database, initiating scan. > [18-10-13 01:04:28.6491] Slim::Utils::SQLiteHelper::postConnect (374) Optimizing DB because of missing or empty sqlite_stat1 table > [18-10-13 01:04:28.7250] Slim::Schema::forceCommit (2147) Warning: Trying to commit transactions before DB is initialized! > [18-10-13 01:04:29.2579] Slim::Networking::Repositories::__ANON__ (146) Failed to fetch https://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml: Couldn't resolve IP address for: repos.squeezecommunity.org > [18-10-13 01:04:29.2583] Slim::Networking::Repositories::__ANON__ (149) https lookup failed - trying plain text http instead: http://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml > [18-10-13 01:04:31.2614] Slim::Formats::XML::gotErrorViaHTTP (339) Error: getting http://opml.radiotime.com/Index.aspx?partnerId=16 > Couldn't resolve IP address for: opml.radiotime.com > [18-10-13 01:04:31.2621] Slim::Plugin::InternetRadio::Plugin::_gotRadioError (67) Unable to retrieve radio directory from SN: Couldn't resolve IP address for: opml.radiotime.com > [18-10-13 01:04:33.7723] Slim::Utils::Firmware::downloadAsyncError (581) Warning: Firmware: Failed to download http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/7.9.2/fab4.version (Couldn't resolve IP address for: update.slimdevices.com), will try again in 10 minutes. > [18-10-13 01:04:53.2643] Slim::Formats::XML::gotErrorViaHTTP (339) Error: getting http://opml.radiotime.com/Index.aspx?partnerId=16 > > And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo-by > > > * maintainer of QLogitechMediaServer, QOptware-NG and QAutoSub. I did not see that like that. Happy with all the input. But QLMS is meant as een beta, and made to be installed beside QLogitechMediaServer. If all the trouble is solved, it will be release as QLogitechMediaServer. But i had to find out a lot. Especially as the next step will be the release off a arm version. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
The normal structure on QNap, is that all the shares are under /share/(depends on model/. So for example, al my mediafiles, are in /share/*/Multimedia. And the Download is under /share/*/Downloads. The same for the directory where all the apps are installed, /share/*/.qpkg And because to make it more compatible, I start using chroot so LMS will get a kind off new filesysteem. Through this way, LMS get its need libaries and files, and wont give errors because there are old incompatible libraries. Because of that, one has to make sure all need file are available in a chroot. In QLMS i do this, by remounting the /share/*/ in the chroot. So iḿ very curious on you file system layout. What you could try, when running QLMS. Open a ssh shell and do [ cd /share/*/.qpkg/QLMS/.config/LMSROOT/share ] Now do ls -l, and there will be a home directory and another. Try to go to the other and do a ls -l there, here should be you're complet list off shares. Nice to hear, its working now. But keep in mind, were still in a beta stage's Gone need some more fine tuning, before the officieel release. QLMS is build on a completly new way off installing and running on QNap. I made that choice, because older QNap systems where missing needed or outdated libraries. frch260246 wrote: > I installed QLMS 1.10.b1 on my TS-253-PRO QTS4.2 this morning and > everyting now works perfectly. > Thanks very much for this great version. > I will now proceed to upgrade to QTS4.3 * maintainer of QLogitechMediaServer, QOptware-NG and QAutoSub. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
Nice to read, you got it work. Keep in mind, all the folders must be under /share/(depend on QNap system)/ A easy way to test it, is by go on to a ssh shell. Now give the following command [echo /share/*/Public]. This will always gives the public share path. Now take of /Public, and you got the share path where all folders should be. Now browse through those folders to find you're music folder. Iǘe you found it, it will be on the same place in LMS. As i wrote on my QNap it's all under Multimedia, there i put all my music and video files in separated folders. That's also the path which QLMS is using to remount in chroot. There should not folders or files be symlink outside that, for LMS to find and uses. Curious about how fast is working on youŕe end? dolodobendan wrote: > It's working now. Oke great that is working at you ŕe end also. I doing some fine tuning now. But there is the question, how shall i release it. Bring out a new QLogitechMediaServer release, or as release with the name QLMS. I'm still in doubt. QLogitechMediaServer is a completly different way of installing and running LMS then QLMS. So i'm think, there could be people how like QLogitechMediaServer as it is. On the other hand, this will improve stability of LMS, and it's not depending on any software from QNap anymore. dolodobendan wrote: > Of course, I know that. :) > > > > That's what I do, too. > > > > Yes. > > > > I am, too. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
QLMS is much more in control, and protected the QLogitechMediaServer. Has all the need libary's it needs to run. Is much better optimize to run on a server/nas system. You will notice it, when you got another heavy job running on the QNap. QLogitechMediaServer, will stop playing audio, QLMS on the other hand will keep playing. For QLMS it mutch easier to add missing prg or libaries. No need to have anything like a kind off Optware installed for lame/wma support For those under us, how have a older QNap which is not supported anymore, still can use QLMS. ( That's why i went this way, as those hat errors about missing libarys or other errors) But i'm still curious why you have you're music folder under home ? dolodobendan wrote: > In the end, it's just a matter of taste. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
* QLMS version 1.10.b3 === 21-10-2018 + Now in the x86_64 release, add the x86_64 perl and libraries. Tested and works great. + It seems that the binaries included in LMS for the i*86, where not updated to the latest. Michael has updated them now ( from nightly version , Logitech Media Server Versie: 7.9.2 - 1539853772 @ Thu Oct 18 11:50:51 CEST 2018 ) so both x86_64 and i*86 LMS have the same versions. ( Thanks dolodobendan and Michael Herger ) ( many thanks to Michael for has great work and support ) + Both version are now tested on different QNap systems with different version of QTS ( 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 ). And all are running great. ( thanks dolodobendan, gerardluc, smc and more ) + MusicIP runs on both versions ! ! IMPORTANT if QLogitechMediaServer is installed, settings will be copied and path's adjusted. This can make the installation take longer, so give it some time . Also after this, the first two or three times, the plugun page will load slow ! ! IMPORTANT If you have a QLMS copie installed, please remove it first through the APP-centre. * Gone do more some fine tuning, before doing the official release. * So if there some thing wrong, let me know please ? * And also would be nice, the hear when it works on you're Qnap nassystem. * Please include which model, and QTS version and archs you're using. Thanks for the information. Nice that it works at you're end. Regarding the time, has nothing to do with QLMS. Something which has to do something with in LMS it self. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
Nice it works at youŕe end. And yes the is a difference in i686 and x86_64. Started this beta where both had i686, because i686 also runs on a x86_64, but not the other ways around. Regarding the used version, thats some thing from LMS it self. The x86_64 version uses around 100MB more memory. ( And took a lot of work, to find out, and programming !) + Proud to release a completely new version of QLogitechMediaSever. + It's a totally new layout and way of running the services on a QNap nas-system. + Due to the errors and trouble, on many older QNap model, which could not upgraded tot QTS 4.3. + From this version using to chroot command, to make sure the needed libraries and program's are available. + The basic is the same, but the approached is changed, and some new stuff is added. + Its still has support for MusicIP, Spotty, YouTube, Radio Paradise, SqueezeSonic and now also Shairtunes2 a.m. ( For shairtunes2 bonjour must be actieve ) + Through this way could add libraries support for wma, icedax (CDDA2WAV) and many more. ( to make several plugin work ) + Has been tested a several different QNap systems running QTS 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and even 4.0 with x*86 and x86_64 arch + The only program which has to be available on you're QNap is chroot. ! Please keep in mind, i only deliver the basic layout. The LMS software is always download from the official website. So any remarks regarding the functions of LMS, should be done in the slimserver forum. + Trouble on startup, please leave a messages in the QNap/SlimServer forum, included the log and log.err files. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
The error on pid, is not that important. About the plugin pages, at first quiet normal. But tells you are using settings off different older LMS. Keep in mind that in several files in Cache and the prefs directory, there are files with information regarding used paths. It will fixs itself the longer you are using it. You dont need to uninstall the older version. But i think you're trying to install the x86 version, but you should install the x86_64 version. You could check it bij logon through ssh shell, and then do uname -m where it will properly says x86_64 jasell wrote: > Hi, > > I had QLMS 1.08 (I think) and in my Appcenter I had an update. > > I tried it and the system stated to upgrade to QLogitechMediaCenter > 2.00.01 > > During the installation I got the following error > > > Code: > > > TypeDateTimeUsers Source IP Computer name Content > Error 2018/10/28 14:38:31System 127.0.0.1 localhost You're trying to install the wrong version for LogitechMediaServer, it needs the x86_64 version! > > > > > My system is a TS 439 pro II+, on latest QTS 4.2.6 (running Intel x86 > 64 bit processors) > > SHould manually remove my previous installtion QLMS installation? * maintainer of QLogitechMediaServer, QOptware-NG and QAutoSub. The pluging pade will solve itself in a few days. Its because of several things like path and updates. Leave it some times, and tomorrow restart QLogitechMediaServer. You will notice, thats it getting faster. jasell wrote: > After upgrading to QLMS 2.00.02 I get these feedback after a manual > start: > > Code: > > > [admin@QNAP2 LogitechMediaServer]$ ./QLogitechMediaServer.sh start > /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/.config/.QLMS.func: line 165: [: too many arguments > /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/.config/.QLMS.func: line 169: [: too many arguments > QLogitechMediaServer is started in the Background on [10880] ! > Please wait a few minuts, before you try to access the webgui through http://192.168.6.3:9001 ! > [admin@QNAP2 LogitechMediaServer]$ > > > > > Again, it starts so I guess minor errros... > > But I still have problem with Settings/Plugins page. > All other pages in Settings load really fast. > I have now been waiting for several minutes for the page to load, are > my old Prefs & Cache migrated to a new platfrom/installation? > > My log file (Logs/server.log) seems a bit strange, is there a problem > with a character set?? > > Code: > > > [18-10-28 17:23:52.1260] main::init (387) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.9.2, 1539967036, Fri Oct 19 19:20:19 CEST 2018) perl 5.024004 - x86_64-linux-thread-multi > [18-10-28 17:23:58.7278] Slim::Utils::PluginManager::load (393) Warning: Couldn't call Slim::Plugin::Sounds::Plugin->initPlugin: Can't use string (" > 1234 > opml > type"...) as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/SlimServer/Slim/Plugin/Sounds/Plugin.pm line 63. > [18-10-28 17:23:59.0456] Slim::Control::Request::execute (1888) Error: While trying to run function coderef [Slim::Plugin::Extensions::Plugin::appsQuery]: [Can't use string (" > 1234 > HTTP::Headers"...) as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/SlimServer/Slim/Networking/SimpleAsyncHTTP.pm line 123. > ] > [18-10-28 17:23:59.9145] Plugins::ExecuteScript::Plugin::doThisScript (219) Execute: No Script Selected > [18-10-28 17:24:00.0972] Plugins::ExecuteScript::Plugin::doThisScript (219) Execute: No Script Selected > [18-10-28 17:24:00.1774] Plugins::ExecuteScript::Plugin::doThisScript (219) Execute: No Script Selected > [18-10-28 17:24:00.1810] Plugins::ExecuteScript::Plugin::doThisScript (219) Execute: No Script Selected > [18-10-28 17:26:06.0409] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (131) Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Web::HTTP::processHTTP: Can't use string (" > 1234 > HTTP::Headers"...) as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/SlimServer/Slim/Networking/SimpleAsyncHTTP.pm line 123. > ; fh=Slim::Web::HTTP::ClientConn=GLOB(0xa196d40) > [18-10-28 17:27:21.0260] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (131) Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Web::HTTP::processHTTP: Can't use string (" > 1234 > HTTP::Headers"...) as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/SlimServer/Slim/Networking/SimpleAsyncHTTP.pm line 123. > ; fh=Slim::Web::HTTP::ClientConn=GLOB(0xa19a1b0) > [18-10-28 17:28:36.0282] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (131) Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Web::HTTP::processHTTP: Can't use string (" > 1234 > > > * maintainer of QLogitechMediaServer, QOptware-NG and QAutoSub. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
* There are people who complain, that after the upgraded the plugin webpage is slow or not loading ! This is because of several things, al regarding that all of them come from another installation like SSOTS or others. They copied the Cache en prefs directory, in the SlimServer directory from QLogitechMediaServer. On itzelf not a big a problem, but in those file there are also path settings. And because Cache and prefs now are located in another directory structure, is take some time to adjust. That's quiet normal and will solve itzself. So if you have this issue, leave it be, and try restarting QLogitechMediaServer once a day. You will notice that's it getting faster and the issue will solve it self. * * maintainer of QLogitechMediaServer, QOptware-NG and QAutoSub. Oke what you could then, is logon by ssh shell. Backup the Cache and prefs directory form teh SlimServer directory to a plce outside the LogitechMediaServer directory. Then uninstall and install it again from the app center. And then place both directory back in the SlimServer directory. restart QLogitechMediaServer, and you're old setting are back. earthbased wrote: > Well, I dont want to lose my settings. [ cd /share/*/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer ] [ rm -R .config/LMSROOT/etc/localtime ] [ ./QLogitechMediaServer restart ] And when its running again, close the ssh shell screen. Now it should be solved. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
Regarding MUSIP, you should edit .QLMS.conf for that. And then the line #MUSICIP=0 should become MUSICIP=1. and be sure that you remove the # at front of the line. Another way could be, to do [ touch .MUSICIP ] inside the ./qpkg/QLOgitechMediaServer directory. Then when you are inside the qpkg/QLogitechMediaServer directory [ ./QLogitechMediaServer.sh restart ] and look at the messages. Then running you then could do [ ./QLogitechMediaServer.sh status ] , and now it should tell you thats it running. Regarding the other stuff, thats more something from LMS itself, so have a look here in the forum regarding this. yeomanspc wrote: > OK. I have 2 servers. You must setup one spotify accont in LMS. And after that, and enable spotify connected on the player page. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
If you have installed tho older version, through the Qnap app center in the app store from Qnap Club. Just use the update button. If you have installed it manually through the QNap app center. Download the right version, and install it through the app center. The app center will see it as a update, and install it like a update. Best suggested way is, add QNap club store to the app center, and install it from there. Then you always get a notification, and updating is easy. And you cab also add other interesting stuff from the Q|Nap Club store. anadigi wrote: > I am wondering how to update to the newer version without uninstall and > reinstall the LogitechMediaServer? * maintainer of QLogitechMediaServer, QOptware-NG and QAutoSub.
