Re: [sumo-user] Unable to launch osm web wizard
This sounds as if you are double-clicking the python file rather than using the cmd line. Try this: 1. double click start-command-line.bat in sumo/bin 2. type 'python "%SUMO_HOME%\tools\osmWebWizard.py" 3. if no browser is launched, open the webwizard/index.html as you did before and click "Generate Scenario" 4. post a screenshot of the window where you typed the python command Am Do., 22. [sumo-user] Vehicle "pass through" others in SUMO 1.9.0 (and earlier)
Hi, In a lane-merge section, followers that can't decelerate fast enough before a stopped leader -- "pass through" their leader. The attached figure demonstrates that (in the bottom lane). What could I do to prevent it? Thanks, Daniel ___ sumo-user mailing list sumo-user@eclipse.org To unsubscribe from this list, visit https://www.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/sumo-user

[sumo-user] Unable to launch osm web wizard
Hi all, I am having trouble with the OSM web wizard. I tried to use both methods stated in https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tutorials/OSMWebWizard.html 1) Typing "python osmWebWizard.py@ under tools directory; and 2) Using the Shortcut in the dropdown windows menu. The command window pops up but closed shortly afterwards without any other web / action. I tried to type "file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Eclipse/Sumo/tools/webWizard/index.html" direct which gets me to the page but I could not generate successfully as it says "Socket connection failed.". SUMO : 1.9.0 Python 3.9 Thanks! Martin ___ sumo-user mailing list sumo-user@eclipse.org To unsubscribe from this list, visit https://www.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/sumo-user

1. Yes. You can get a working example via https://sumo.dlr.de/extractTest.php?path=sumo/tests/sumo/devices/glosa/slowDown See also https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Definition_of_Vehicles,_Vehicle_Types,_and_Routes.html#devices 2. see latest comment at https://github.com/eclipse/sumo/issues/7721 Am Do., 22.
