Re: [sumo-user] Unable to launch osm web wizard

2021-04-22 Thread Jakob Erdmann
This sounds as if you are double-clicking the python file rather than using
the cmd line.
Try this:
1. double click start-command-line.bat in sumo/bin
2. type 'python "%SUMO_HOME%\tools\osmWebWizard.py"
3. if no browser is launched, open the webwizard/index.html as you did
before and click "Generate Scenario"
4. post a screenshot of the window where you typed the python command

[sumo-user] Vehicle "pass through" others in SUMO 1.9.0 (and earlier)

2021-04-22 Thread Daniel Urieli
Hi,

In a lane-merge section, followers that can't decelerate fast enough before a
stopped leader -- "pass through" their leader.

The attached figure demonstrates that (in the bottom lane).

What could I do to prevent it?

Thanks,

[sumo-user] Unable to launch osm web wizard

2021-04-22 Thread Martin Chan
Hi all,

I am having trouble with the OSM web wizard. I tried to use both methods
stated in https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tutorials/OSMWebWizard.html
1) Typing "python osmWebWizard.py@ under tools directory; and
2) Using the Shortcut in the dropdown windows menu.

The command window pops up but closed shortly afterwards without any other
web / action. I tried to type
"file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Eclipse/Sumo/tools/webWizard/index.html"
direct which gets me to the page but I could not generate successfully as
it says "Socket connection failed.".

SUMO : 1.9.0
Python 3.9

Thanks!

[sumo-user] Variable Traffic

2021-04-22 Thread Radha Reddy
Hello,

Hope everything is going well during this pandemic.

My question is if we can assign variable traffic in SUMO 1.9.0. For
instance, x vehicle rate between t0 and t1, y vehicle rate between t1 and
t2, z vehicle rate between t2 and t3, ..

1. Yes. You can get a working example via

See also
