Re: [sumo-user] Differences in Krauss CFM Output

Most likely, this is an artifact of defining more vehicles than the road
can take in a way that makes one of the two types more likely to start.

Re: [sumo-user] SUMO GUI settings file for custom lane segment coloring

2022-05-08 Thread Jakob Erdmann
Usually, there is only one color per edge and there are some settings which
give distinct colors per lane (i.e. 'color by param (numerical, lanewise)').
Thus, if you need colors that vary after 250m, I'd recommend to split your
edge so each one is 250m long.
See also
https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/sumo-gui.html#visualizing_edge-related_data

There is one setting for getting more fine grained coloring: "color by
height at geometry-segment start'. This permits setting a progression of
colors for a sloped edge with geometry points in the desired spacing.

regards,
Jakob

Can you provide the input shapefile and/or post the first 100 lines the
sumo-shapes-file generated by polyconvert?

[sumo-user] how to speed up the simulation

2022-05-08 Thread Reza Bahmani
Hi,
I'm running multiple dynamic simulations using dualterate.py.
while processing, just one core is used in my computer's CPU. Is there any
solution to decrease the time of simulations?
thanks in advance

[sumo-user] Differences in Krauss CFM Output

2022-05-08 Thread Radha Reddy
Hello,

Hope everything is going well.

I tried to analyze the Krauss CFM with 50% Gasoline and 50% Electric
vehicles, with identical parameter values.

When I compare the number of vehicles in a specific time period, say 1h,
the electric vehicles are higher than the gasoline vehicles, 40veh. I do
not understand where it went wrong or why this difference?
