Error message when sending mail and problem with dialog boxes]
Hi, I have just downloaded the new version of Seamonkey. When I try to send mail I get the following message - Sending of message failed. An error occurred sending mail: Unable to authenticate to SMTP server smtp.talktalk.net. It does not support authentication (SMTP-AUTH) but you have chosen to use authentication. Uncheck 'Use name and password' for that server or contact your service provider. I can't find the Use name and password checkbox - can you please tell me how I get to it? I don't see it in mail and newsgroups account settings in the edit menu, and I've contacted my service provider, but they don't support Seamonkey and can't help. Also, how do I import all my mail and settings from Thunderbird? I have run the mail and newsgroups account settings option in the edit menu, and it says that import was successful, but nothing has happened. Lastly, when I open a dialog box, like the mail and newsgroups account settings box, it briefly appears, then disappears, but when I try to click on any other option or command, the dialog box pops up again and chimes as though I've tried to move away from it without closing it.
