Oh, I agree with that. g However, if you want your hotmail mail, you may have to take some 'extraordinary' steps. After all, it is Microsoft (the Home of Internet Explorer) you're dealing with. I posted our issue in http://www.windowslivehelp.com/thread.aspx?threadid=3a053e16-fcfe-4396-a2b4-04bd3db0585f Ok, let's see what kind of responses you get. However, the current version of Firefox DOES support the new Hotmail. That's a misplaced statement; it should read the current version of Hotmail refuses Firefox older than 3.0. and refuses SeaMonkey, and refuses every browser except a select few... you get the picture. All it would take would be for a Microsoftie to add a few more strings to the sniffer JavaScript. Should take five minutes .. *if* you could find a responsible person in Redmond. It's like you calling up your ISP asking for email config help with SeaMonkey or Thunderbird or Eudora or ... you get the stock answer we only support Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail. But naturally, any email client will work .. they just don't have scripts for them. We need to fight them to support SM v2! ..or support no specific browser; use 'em all! can't log into ebay
Lately, I have been searching for a browser where ebay will actually be a usable site. Firefox, ie, and seamonkey all have major issues unless I turn of zone alarm internet security suite. In other words, it's fine if I don't use a firewall, but otherwise, the site is unusable. Firefox is the worst, it constantly hangs trying to load pages. I can use it at times with a combination of hitting the refresh button and then the stop button, which I guess kills the load of what ever the problem is. Seamonkey works better, but I can't log in. When ever I try to enter my username a pass, the page just comes back with both fields empty. I have set seamonkey to allow cookies, and I have firewall entries for dozens of ebay domain names. Any suggestions on what to do, I am using SeaMonkey 1.1.17. LMH ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Re: can't log into ebay
The last time I tried to upgrade to 2.*, I couldn't even get the executable to open, or all of my profiles to appear. I use this for my business, so it really needs to work. I will try again at some point when version 2 is more mature. It works with my firewall off, so there must be some interaction issue. LMH S. Beaulieu wrote: L.
