Hi Mark,

It worked, although I had to make the font size BELOW 15, at or above 15
the web page would not display correctly.

Now working well at 14..

Not all gg posts have a message id that ends with googlegroups.com. And
remember just because someone posts with a gmail address does not mean
they are using gg.

I also don't know why you set "Message-ID *ends* with googlegroups.com"
three times.

A common header in gg posts is X-Complaints-To: groups-ab...@google.com

So try a filter like this:

Filtering on the wrong item.

You don't want to filter on "From" -- you want to filter on "Newsgroups".
You will have to use the Customize choice and add it. Then filter on your
comma.

You might consider upgrading from:

I think in a case like this, it would be very useful to actually see
what you're talking about. If you can create a screenshot (see
http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem>)
and upload it to an image hosting site like Flickr, Photobucket, or
Picasaweb, that you help everyone know what you're referring to.

And it would be better to start a new thread. Let's not let this turn
into a "post any questions you have about news filters" thread.

I wrote a new thread about this on 2/19/12 which was ignored, so I
thought while this thread had some attention on the same subject...
[i.e. newsgroup filters], I would try again. :)

NoOp was suggesting that you open SeaMonkey's help file by choosing
Help|Help Contents or pressing F1 from within the program. When that
dialog opens, you'll see a search window in which you can enter the term
"download manager." Each hit is hot-linked to the relevant section of
the help file.

You probably won't find it by searching your hard drive with Windows
Explorer.
