No problem here. I have both Flash and HTML5 Media enabled along with
images from all domains.

I tried this on my wife's Windows XP SP3 PC with SeaMonkey 2.49.2 and
the same settings I indicate above. I could NOT view the video. I
suspect that my wife might be missing a codec.

Later, I will get a list of the codecs on both her PC and mine. If I
see a deficiency in my wife's PC, I will attempt to install the missing
codec there. Then I will again try to view the video.

Thank you, David. I will be very interested to see the results
of your investigation.

Is it me or are installed extensions not getting updates anymore?

2018-04-25 Thread Ant via support-seamonkey

I have these currently installed in my SeaMonkey v2.49.2 web browsers:
* ColorfulTabs 31.1.9 (http://www.addongenie.com/colorfultabs)
* DOM Inspector 2.0.16.1-signed (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/inspector/)
* Open With 6.8.6 (https://github.com/darktrojan/openwith)
* PrefBar 7.1.1 (http://prefbar.tuxfamily.org/)
* uBlock Origin 1.13.8 (https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock)

Is it because developers moved onto the new Gecko engine? :( Thank you
in advnace. :)

Selecting more than one newsgroup is not possible in SeaMonkey.

Do some research on how selecting multiple newsgroups in the Folder Pane
in Thunderbird, right clicking and using Mark Newsgroups Read works there.

Then write a patch for SeaMonkey, build SeaMonkey to test the patch,
then submit the patch for review in your bug report. I think that's how
it works.

Yes there is, but it's not the way you would expect. What I did was
create a search folder which searches for unread messages in all
folders. (Local, Status isn't read). Then you can select all the
messages in this search folder (using ctrl-a) and mark them as read.

Wow. SeaMonkey needs an easier way. Thanks.
