I have Windows XP SM 2.22, and 'Subject' shows my-misspellings as underlines ONLY when I click on the filled-out subject line, but it will not correct them: THE Spell function is grayed out. If you're asking whether SeaMonkey spell-checks my subject lines, I never noticed either way, sorry. I'm sure I haven't seen any wavy underlines there. And when you cannot get close enough for spell check to determine what word you are trying to spell, start a Google search for the word.
