Trouble logging off of a site

2011-01-26 Thread William Morrison
I've got a small problem with a site when using SM 2.0.11 The site is
https://windtunnel.fmfl.net/ and the problem is that once I'm logged on
to it the log off link doesn't work, the page just sets there fat, dumb
and happy and does nothing. I've contacted them about this and another
problem that turns out they already knew about and is affecting all
browsers which they are working on. Anyone care to look at this and see
if it's a problem on SM's end? I'm running Windows XP SP3 with
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.16)
Gecko/20101123 SeaMonkey/2.0.11

Do you want to give us a login ID and password? I don't have an account
at that site.

On occasion, I might filter and ignore all newsgroup messages
posted through GoogleGroups via Google's G2/1.0 user agent
because of spam from that source.

David hold off if you already haven't logged on there, from conversing
through email with one of their people he and I have determined that
it's a ASP.NET 4.0 Framework or browser sniffing problem similar to what
you discussed with Ken somebody back in Aug of last year. They actually
sent me the link to your discussion but I don't think he read the whole
thing nor went to your page about sniffing. They seemed very interested
in making their site work with Seamonkey as he has downloaded V2.0.11 to
test their varied sites with. I instructed him to fully read that
discussion as well as your link in it to your page on browser sniffing.
