If you are outside the Composer but inside the Browser part when you display the page source CTFL-F and the menu - both works corectly. BUT NOT INSIDE THE COMPOSER. Jim No, I did not use ctrl-F. I rarely use short cuts, I prefer using the mouse. I don't know how the HTML was made. Sometimes I open a web page in the composer to get the exact specification of an image, so Find .jpg. In a separate window, display the web version in your browser. Press CTRL-U to display the source. In that window, Find works. Toggle back and forth between the revised source in Komposer and the online source in SeaMonkey's browser as you make changes. The best way I have found to get rid of these is to open the HTML file in Notepad++ (free download at https://notepad-plus-plus.org/). Select all, then under Edit in the toolbar, go to Line Operations/Remove Empty Lines, click on it and voila, no empty lines. Save as, select file type, save. Reopen in composer.
