But there is also the possibility that you have not been clear enough. *eg* |I have Fails for me about 2:1 over Works for me, but obviously it |works for someone. This belongs to eternal? 2 fails for 1 succeed? Or do you mean 2 other newssevers are working correct and eternal fails? But clearly you have problems with eternal despite of seemingly correct settings. Here is what i would do in this case. First identify the account which belongs to eternal by searching in the prefs.js for eternal. In my case this would be mail.server.server4. Then remove the account for eternal with Edit-Mail Newsgroups Account Settings-Remove Account. Close SM and delete all traces of eternal in the profile. Especially the folder News/news.eternal-september.org and the files News/news.eternal-september.org.msf and News/newsrc-news.eternal-september.org. Look into prefs.js, if all references to server? are gone. Start SM, open the Password Manager, select 'Manage Stored Passwords' and delete the entries for eternal if existent. User: Does anyone know if the SM 2.00 / 2.01 mail client drag and drop bug has been reported and will be fixed anytime soon? Quite often when an e-mail is dragged from the top right header pane to the folder pane, the drag and drop operational fails. When this occurs, the drag and drop has to be repeated TWICE, i.e. only on the 3rd time will the drag and drop actually work. It appears that when a mail is dragged for the FIRST TIME, there is only a very short period before the drop will fail, so to make it work the first time, the mail has to be quickly dropped into a folder as soon as possible. I'm used to use the right-mouse-context menu if i wish to copy/move mails or copy postings. No problems. Now i have tried it several times your way, also without problems. This old thing is no longer maintained and I had already patched the version compatibility to get it installed under SM 2.0.x. OTOH it worked and I did not suspect it to have such strange side effects. On trunk, if you have such an extension which you have fixed by yourself that can happen with each new build. *g* Well, i am writing this because you could look into MonkeyMenu, examine what's going wrong, fix it and offer a version .j1 for those, who like this extension. :) Hartmut ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Re: Large .mfl Files
Robert Kaiser: You can do nothing but leave them as they are, ... Hm, sometimes the XUL.mfl becomes corrupt and must be removed manually. Therefore i have set - user.js - // XUL-Caching und XUL.mfl abschalten user_pref(nglayout.debug.disable_xul_cache, true); user_pref(nglayout.debug.disable_xul_fastload, true); --- No XUL.mfl in my profile anymore and i haven't noticed a noticeable delay at startup. :) Hartmut ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Robert Kaiser: Hartmut Figge wrote: Hm, sometimes the XUL.mfl becomes corrupt and must be removed manually. Haven't seen that in years. Me neither. But i couldn't because if have no XUL.mfl since years. *g* No XUL.mfl in my profile anymore and i haven't noticed a noticeable delay at startup. :) You must have a very very fast machine then, as even I with a dual-core machine notice my builds being slower in startup and more sluggish in usage when I set those options. Just tested. After a reboot the first start of SM2.1 lasts 9 seconds without XUL.mfasl and 7 seconds with XUL.mfasl. After quitting the next starts lasts about 2 seconds regardless of XUL.mfasl. My machine is a Core 2 Duo E6750 with 4GB RAM. I am on Linux, therefore the filename is XUL.mfasl and not XUL.mfl, but that shouldn't matter. What could matter is, that i am using only a few extensions. Hartmut ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
Re: rendering of a page
Leonidas Jones: [http://www.dekalbtexas.org/] That being said, I don't notice any overlapping of page elements. Uncheck 'Allow documents to use other fonts' and/or set Minimum font size high enough. ;) With my usual settings the side looks indeed horrible.
