Well, John Wayne..the reason that I joined this group is to be a bit
The John Wayne signature was a quip in response to someone on list who
implied the Poppycock posting(s) to be John Wayne against the world. Or
so I inferred.
Was curious if he was reading posts all the way through

IF the masses pulled together, we MIGHT be able to
accomplish something, but have you ever tried to get a number of people
to agree on the same thing?
Yup. That's why most of my best work now is started alone or semi so. Then
let others
jump in and keep the ball rolling. Most folks either don't like the dirty
work or want proof before they commit.
The average soul is so busy trying to make a living, and keep
his family out of the red, that he doesn't look up long enough to see the
big picture. Government, in general, encourages this-if we are kept in
servitude, we are not being a thorn in the side of them, something which
slows their ongoing process of putting us deeper in debt, and further in
servitude.
Yup.

We need to simplify,

I'm quite sure that, in my village, I would be in
violation of a number of laws, if I attempted to produce biodiesel.
You said you're in the US, yes? It's not illegal to manufacture on a small
scale in one's garage, for the most part. Once you get past 25 - 50 gallons
at
a time and a few times a week, that might be another matter. Even then, the
switch to
industrial setting should be more out of deference to the safety of others
and perhaps self.

Personally, my selfish viewpoint is that we should keep biodiesel to
ourselves, and not make it popular. That way, the blood-sucking oil
companies won't take it away from us, with the help of their friend,
the government.
Too late. The cat is out of the bag. It will be interesting to see how this
industry grows and what agents screw it up.

We, as citizens, have allowed corporations to make the market God. We,
as citizens, need to take it back.
We as consumers feed the corporations that program us to believe that the
market is God. But you are right. It is time to put the monster(s) on a
short leash and restricted diet.
