How many new biodiesel plants is malaysia setting up? I only know of 3 (with a combined capacity of 180 000 t/yr) for export purposes. If the B5 blend is to be implemented locally, are there additional plants being built here to meet the needs? Hello Allan Hi, For me there was, as I am struggling to find suppliers for some of the chemicals etc etc. But you didn't say so, all you said was this: Adding on from this, I would like to know if we have any people from Scotland on the list People do struggle to find chemicals. Quite often they claim it's impossible, they're not available or too expensive. But eventually they find good sources. These chemicals are available at reasonable prices all over the world, once you find your way. It might be worthwhile swapping notes with other locals about this, and useful to have the results in the archives for others to find. But it won't happen unless you say what difficulties you're having and what you've tried so far. It also helps if there is someone local to either talk to or colaborate with - two heads better than one and all that. Indeed. So go on and talk then. Apologies if I have misused the mailing list. Thankyou, but no need. Haven't used it enough maybe. :-) Best Keith Allan. Hello all, wherever and elsewhere. There are at least 30 Biofuel list members in Malaysia, and at least 15 in Scotland. Re: [Biofuel] Any other lister in Malaysia?
I've got a friend named Mark (Marc?) Masur living in KL. He plays in the Philharmonic (percussion), and he was asking me about biodiesel for running his generator. I'll try to find his email, but you could probably phone the Malaysia Philharmonic and ask for him (or leave a message - I don't know how uptight the Petron-ASS people are?).
