Hi!

Tomorrow, Tuesday, I will have the upload ready for the Juke Box / Sea
Battle game.

You will now inside the game or Juke Box be able to search for any music
files you have on your hard drives, CD's and network drives without having
to go back to the control panel.
If you use the CD or Network, it must be running, for if removed or
disconnected the play will fail. I only load the path/file name and not the
file itself; which means you should organize them where it is safe before
playing them.

Note:
A network drive may not show up if you have the network running before
you power up your computer. If this happens either power down, leaving the
network up and running, or go to a network drive and just look at it, then
Windows will see it...a stupid windows bug.

My style of Windows Explorer is the listing of all drives and to move
inside you use the right arrow key. Use the cursor keys to navigate up and
down and side ways.
Sideways means going into a folder or out of a folder or back to the
top, the list of drives by using the left and right arrow keys.

The drive type is also mentioned just like you would find in My
Computer. and as you navigate it will say if it is a folder or file.
Empty folder will say as such and not go into them.

NOTE:
I changed the adjustment of the volume while in the play list when in
the game or Juke Box, I will be using the Control Up and Down Arrow keys for
adjusting volume now. Not the delete key as before, since if I am adding
files to the list I will also add a delete file from the list.
So, the delete key will now be used to delete a file from the list.

Adjusting the volume inside the game is still the Home key.; Shift for
down and for up just hit the key.

So, hopefully I will upload it tomorrow, Tuesday.

Hi!

I have been busy on other things but by Monday I will have an update for
both the most recent apps of mine: Breaking News and Sea Battle.
The Breaking News app has a slight flaw in it if you have more than 100
URL listings on the Tree Menu or main dialog menu.
Scriptors can fix that issue by editing the app and searching for the
array(100) dimension for it is never used and either comment it out,
*suggested fix), or delete the line. I was going to use it for returning
page line number and forgot about it, for I changed my mind.
What will happen is after 100 URL listings you will find the last one on
the list being deleted, for the error trap is a resume next and you will not
even notice it until you look for it. This showed up after my last editing
feature addition.

Now, I am upgrading the revision level much higher because I am going to
add to it the ability to also use your Juke Box/Game from that control panel
as well. Of course it is not part of the download but will allow you to use
it if you so desire and it has detected that game already downloaded and
installed. Editing features and button/selection to play them will be added.

The other one, the game, and Juke Box, I will use a Windows Explorer
style search for music files to add during the playing of the app; not the
Clipboard; issues with window transfer is a pain, so that will be at a later
time.

Hopefully the upgrades will be by Monday for both apps. With the
possibility of other music formats that can be played besides the standard:
.MP3, .Ogg, and .Wav formats.

Sincerely
Bruce

Hi!
The Sea Battle game, or Juke Box Player, as mentioned below will have
the ability to read the help line by line.
Also, the Juke Box or Play List will have the ability to save on your list
any file/path name saved, or selected, using your Clipboard Copy or Cut
command, the Ctrl-X and Ctrl-C hotkeys built into Windows.

Thus, having this feature you can insert several music files selected
when using the Windows Explorer function; granted that those using Windows 8

and 10 there are major issues using that Windows feature based on what has
been mentioned on the Talk List.

So, when released enjoy the features...

NFL Gamepass

2015-09-21 Thread Terry Chaney via Talk
In case anyone is interested, the gamepass from the NFL now works
reasonably well. It is possible to get to live, game day radio of teams
and also to the archived broadcasts, at least most of the time by
clicking a link. Those links do not come up until the radio is
available, maybe 20 minutes before the actual broadcast.

It's a lot later than I personally would have liked, but if you want to
listen to NFL radio coverage of a team not in your geographic area they
are probably the only game in town.

there is an update for insiders, on the fast track. it is true you do
have to allow some other info for microsoft, but the sacrifice is worth
it if the computer runs better, which in my case it does very much so.

It was scheduled for October, but they moved it back I guess.

keeping the neo cloud web page in english

2015-09-21 Thread Casey via Talk

Hi someone on A list I am on.
Uploads files to the site called neo cloud.
But when you go to that page it isn't in English.
So how then in window-eyes do you make it so when you load that page you
get what all is on that page in English and not in whatever language
that services web page is in?
Also once you make this change with window-eyes how do you then make it
stay for all the times you visit and use that web site?

Re: Windows 10 usage

2015-09-21 Thread net bat via Talk

the best thing you should do right now is backup the whole system.
windows 10 has problems with who has permissions to files and folders.
already windows changed permissions to my user account. it blocked access to my
users\my account and everything in that folder.
once it did this i was logging into a guest account every time. with no
programs running and no desktop icons. except for the recycle bin.
also with a guest account it is erased every time you shut down and creates a
new guest account every time you log on to it.

so anything you may install will be erased.
i did fiddle with the permissions for my account but it was messed up so bad i
had to do the windows reset. the start screen was gone, no synthasizers to
choose from for window eyes, no way to search ,windows e did not work either to
open the list of hard drives.
i had to do a windows reset to go back to where it was when it was first
installed to fix the problem.

the best thing you should do right now is backup the whole system.
windows 10 has problems with who has permissions to files and folders.
already windows changed permissions to my user account. it blocked access to
my
users\my account and everything in that folder.
once it did this i was logging into a guest account every time. with no
programs running and no desktop icons. except for the recycle bin.
also with a guest account it is erased every time you shut down and creates
a
new guest account every time you log on to it.
so anything you may install will be erased.
i did fiddle with the permissions for my account but it was messed up so bad
i
had to do the windows reset. the start screen was gone, no synthasizers to
choose from for window eyes, no way to search ,windows e did not work either
to
open the list of hard drives.
i had to do a windows reset to go back to where it was when it was first
installed to fix the problem.

Hello list,

I have just upgraded to Windows 10.

I am using WE 9.2 and Office 2010.

Are there any tips on how to use this effectively?

Regards, John

I'm on Insider with the same configuration but have yet to receive this

with no lag.Still have the issue of speech stopping while arrowing
down a web page using IE 11 but I am hoping that Ai Squared will soon
release a WE update to deal with this issue.

Hello Window-Eyes Users

2015-09-21 Thread Stanley Haupt via Talk
I finally resolved the running of Window-Eyes and System Access. Window-Eyes
has a numpad layout. Insert F4 is used by both System Access and Window-Eyes
to close their software. Whenever I would use this layout, I would have to
use the Window key M before I would try to run System Access. In the regular
layout of Window-Eyes, you use Control Insert F4 to close Window-Eyes. If I
use this layout, I can immediately use Control Alt S to start System Access
and no longer get the message that another screen reader is running.

Our church is testing Google Docks to share their church bulletin
electronically. At the moment, Window-Eyes 9.2.1.0 is the only screen reader
that can read these documents. It is my understanding that other screen
readers do not support this yet. You have to use Chrome software from
Google. I do not know if System Access can read and write Google Docks
documents.

You are welcome to make any comments about this message if you feel it is
necessary. I just wanted to keep you posted about this topic.

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and cannot read Bible Seeker.

If anyone has any pointers about this, it would be appreciated or if
there is any other computer program available, I would appreciate
knowing about it.
