A second press of any of these should place you in the corresponding field,

Thanks for the tutorial on using the spell checker with Outlook 2013. . The
problem I’m having now is that when I press the alt-apostrophe keys together, I
hear the keys spoken, but I also hear a beep, and that’s all.

Are the hotkeys different now that we have Window-Eyes 9.5.3 instead of version
8.4 in the tutorial.

Hello Drew. If you have the dectalk that works with Kurzweil, then, that
version will not work with Window-eyes, as the dectalk access 32 software is
tied to Window-eyes. Back in the day, you used to have a driver for the
dectalk that could work across all products that worked with Window-eyes,
but now its just the Window-eyes version now.

RE: dec access 32 software synthesizer

2016-10-11 Thread Chris Grabowski via Talk
Hi,

You'll need to go to the sound card properties and turn off enhancements.

This should make Decaccess more understandable.

Remember, Decaccess hasn't changed in 20 years or so.

Does anyone know if GW micro once sold copies of Dec Access 32 as a separate
software synthesizer? I bought a copy and don't remember from who. I need
another one for my laptop running win ten. I've had allot of problems
understanding what I'm hearing with dec access 32 that comes packaged with
window eyes.

RE: dec access 32 software synthesizer

2016-10-11 Thread Chris Grabowski via Talk
To clear up any confusion.
Years ago there was a version of Decaccess that was sold that would work with
multiple products.
This synthesizer has not been sold for a number of years.

If you have the Window-eyes offer for users of Microsoft Office, you can
purchase Dectalk for $25.
If you purchased a new 8.0 or later retail version of Window-eyes you can also
buy Dectalk access for $25 as it wasn't included after that point.

There was a time, but they have not done so for many years. You cannot buy it
that way anymore, only included as part of WE.
