I can't verify it, but I thought that in the older versions of office that the CONTROL LEFT ARROW and CONTROL RIGHT ARROW may have moved through the groups. At least it is worth a try. Re: hotkey for word 2007
I think that in Word 2007 you can use ctrl-right or left arrow to move between groups. When you are on the main (top level) of the ribbon, right and left arrows move between major tabs. RE: hotkey for word 2007
Hi Butch, I always thought it was Ctrl-tab to move among the groups within a tab. I have 2010 here, I tried it, but it doesn't do exactly that. What it does do is move between the current item and the help search field and back again. Perhaps it does what you want in 2007. Good luck, Rod Sent from Outlook 2010 for Windows -Original Message- From: Talk [mailto:talk-bounces+rod_hutton=hotmail@lists.window-eyes.com] On Behalf Of BK via Talk Sent: Sunday, January 21, 2018 2:35 PM To: gw micro Cc: BK Subject: hotkey for word 2007 Hello, In word 2007, I know that tab and shift tab will move from item to item within a group on the ribbon, but I forgot the hotkey that will move you from group to group, instead of having to tab through all the items in one group to reach another group. If anyone knows the hotkey to move group to group, please let me know. Thanks. Chief, how about the right and left arrow keys? This is what I have used to move from group to another, then I tab through within the group to find what I need. Hope it works for you, Happy Sunday, watch some football for me!!
