RE: trying to decide if I should migrate to window-eyes 9 because I still have windows xp
In the classic menu add-on, when you press alt-q twice you are in the old familiar menu bar but the menus seem to be vertical not horizontal. So to get to edit you would hit the down arrow not the right arrow. I can't remember the name of the free one I tried, but it didn't work for me. Re: trying to decide if I should migrate to window-eyes 9 because I still have windows xp
Hello Ted, No matter what version of Windows I was running, I would wait for Win Eyes 9 to clear up some of the Bugs it suffers from. I have two systems with Win XP, and I am sticking with 8.4. I have another system with Win 7, and there too, at least for now, am sticking with 8.4. maybe 6 months from now, there night be a 9.1 or a 9.2, and I'll perhaps upgrade then. I do not have the money I once had, due to a cut back in my employment. So now, I don't have the money to experiment with New Software.
