Re: Question RE: Future Of Window-Eyes
Hi Doug, Just a quick question: how well do Jaws commands work with a Microsoft feature called Sticky Keys? I am a lefthanded keyboard user, and these sticky keys act as if they are held down, allowing the user to press a combination keys without litterally having to hold down a key. The sticky keys are, alt, control, windows & shift. Thanks in advance. Nick Sarames On 5/16/2017 11:19 AM, Doug Geoffray via Talk wrote: > Amanda, > > Just to be clear, this is not true. RE: Question RE: Future Of Window-Eyes
Karen, Currently we don't have any plans on removing the Window-Eyes offer for users of Microsoft Office. But if you want to be safe, you can certainly just download the 9.5.4 version there now and tuck it away for a rainy day. It can be used on as many machines as you need. So yes, just put it on a thumb drive and keep it in a safe place and use it on as many machines as you need. Oops, I keep forgetting that I need to "reply all" for the reply to go to the list. My thought was to download it, and not install it, but save the file till I need it. I just can't remember if I need to register it in order for it to work, once it's installed. If it's no longer supported, there won't be any way of registering it.
