Not far, but given the first 80km is in traffic, it's time consuming :) I think my best is probably only 650km is a single trip - mostly driven by the need to refuel the beast more than anything else, well, that and the road I tend to map really have a top speed of about 60km given the surface and windy-ness ___ Talk-au mailing list Talk-au@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-au
[talk-au] Australian version of JOSM
If we had an english-AU version of JOSM, we could have our own 'presets' file so we wouldn't have Baby Hatch as an amenity, and we could have some other useful things, including 4wd_only on the presets. I'm no great coder, it is xml, and I have just realised that this is an opportunity to have the tags we like in AU ready to use with our own definitions, in JOSM http://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/TaggingPresets http://www.christeck.de/wp/2009/09/02/maintaining-josm-presets/ while an individual can maintain their own set of presets http://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/2551 I think the real advantage would be in Australianising JOSM. ___ Talk-au mailing list Talk-au@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-au

The public officier and secretary are 2 distinct roles, only the public officier has to reside in NSW and there may be an age restriction of 18 or over, however there os no residency restrictions on board members unless we make it a rule. The public officier's role is to file paper work etc with the Dept. of Fair Trading, and has no board role. ___ Talk-au mailing list Talk-au@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-au

2009/9/19 Liz ed...@billiau.net: Your company secretary will have to reside in NSW, that would then be set. I'm going through the model rules atm, and part one covers this: secretary means: (a) the person holding office under these rules as secretary of the association, or (b) if no such person holds that office – the public officer of the association So the public officer can be secretary, but only if no one else fills that role. ___ Talk-au mailing list Talk-au@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-au
