Karel,

I started in English as this is a Belgian list and the French speakers
might have input too. When I have a question which is clearly of "Flemish
relevance", I do just ask in Dutch.

Omdat Engels een neutrale taal is in België (Vlamingen zijn niet de enige
gebruikers van de lijst), en omdat het makkelijker is om meteen termen te
gebruiken die overeenkomen met OSM tags. Hierbij is meadow dus ook land dat
gebruikt wordt om te grazen (zie
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:landuse%3Dmeadow#Tags_in_combination
), als dit fout is, dan ga je daarmee beter naar de tagging mailing list,
maar er zijn al andere proposals geweest daar rond:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/pasture

Het is niet aan de Belgische community om tags die zo veel gebruikt worden
te wijzigen.

Volgens http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Riding moet je een weide om
te grazen mappen als
According to http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Riding, you have to use


landuse=meadow,
meadow=pasture (undocumented)
landcover=grass (optional)


de track zelf / the race track

leisure=track
sport=horse_racing
surface=*

Merk op dat er discussie is hoe je een sportveld dat enkel dient om te
oefenen moet mappen.
Note, there is some discussion on how to map all kind of sport fields
that are only used for practicing.

We mappen toch ook huizen, ook per definitie prive?  Alles wat een
luchtfoto toont is interessant, een luchtfoto toont ook niet of het
prive is of niet.  ben je er eigenlijk zeker van dat het prive is ?  Hoe?

Ik zie hier geen graten in eerlijk gezegd.   belachelijk of niet, dat is
pas niet relevant.

Quick internet investigation

Using crab/agiv educated guess, that address is either number 258 or 260.

I can find business info back on 260A (which is below the loop)

Camator BVBA - Kortemarkstraat 260 Bus A

"Levende dieren, veehandel fokkerij"

For 260 I find : "Adrd Products Import Export" but not really a company
name. http://en.yelp.be/biz/adrd-products-import-export-torhout

So a bit of a dead end there.  But those buildings look a lot like
stables. When I check with google streetview, I see a lot of horses.
which was actually my first idea that this was a horse training track.
The fencing around it suggests that too.

I would think this is a horsetrack.

make out their silhouettes/shadows. On Bing the irregular way the grass is
eaten is a giveaway.
