Hello Marc,

Where are you keeping attachments? I mean Account - Properties - Files
Directories - Keep attachment files. I am keeping it in a separate
directory, you are probably in a message body, and probably it makes
difference.

Re: Slow message finder

2001-12-10 Thread Peter Meyns

On Mon, 10 Dec 2001 15:34:58 +0800GMT (which was 08:34 +0100GMT where I live),
Thomas F presented us with these thoughts about Slow message finder:

TF If I do want to search for the attachment name (which is in the lower
TF headers and therefore neither in the Headers nor in the Body), TB
TF comes up negative even if I choose Anywhere. Please give me an
TF option that searches anywhere in the message. Maybe a new choice:
TF Anywhere meaning really anywhere. And the old option Anywhere
TF could be renamed Anywhere but I don't really mean it, so search only
TF in Headers and Body.

*LOL* I'd appreciate that! ;o)

There is the same problem with filtering on attachments as they are
indicated in the lower headers. So, e.g., filtering on an .scr file
anywhere won't work. I'd really like TB! to be able to search *anywhere*.

TF - since we are obviously allowed to modify the English language - it
TF could be called Nowhere. ;-)

Why not? :)

Cheers
Peter

GPG cache passphrase

2001-12-10 Thread Peter Meyns

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hi there,

I only once checked the box Store the information in the password
database. My passphrase was still cached when I restarted TB!. It is still
cached after rebooting! What's that? I don't want my passphrase to be
stored on this computer forever! There should be an option to have it per
session, or for a certain time, but it may not by default be cached
eternally. Or have I missed something?

So, first, where do I find the password database to delete it?

Second (to the developers), if you allow passphrase caching (which is a
convenient thing, I admit) you should provide the user to decide for how
long s/he wants to have the passphrase cached.

Thank you for listening. :-)

Hello Peter,

It was foretold that on Monday, December 10, 2001 at 18:11 GMT +0100,
Peter Meyns [PM] would type:

PM How can I make the plugin leave a blank line between my text and the
PM signature? I tried blank lines with and without white spaces, all are
PM ignored... Is there a way?

If you're trying to insert blank lines at the end of a template, put
the %- macro on the last line. It will act as a placeholder.

The way I did mine Peter was to simply put a blank line at the end of my
Signatures that are contained within each of my Templates. That way, the
blank line is always there, so anything else such as a PGP/GPG signature
will 'have' to go on the next line.

Drag Drop

2001-12-10 Thread Marek Mikus

Hello,
after Delphi6 was used, these operations were implemented:

[+] Drag and Drop attachments FROM messages
[+] Text Drag-and-drop from external applications into the message

its nice and useful, but Drag Drop should be more improved than is now:

- Drag Drop message to desktop to create MSG file there

- Drag Drop URL from message to desktop to create URL file with this
  link

- Drag Drop mailto: address from message to desktop to create URL
  link with this address

- Drag Drop file from File Manager to icon in TaskBar or Systray to
create new message with this file attached

- Drag Drop selected messages in pane to icon New message in main
toolbar to create new message with these messages attached as MIME

- Drag Drop selected messages in pane to icon Forward in main
toolbar to forward selected messages as MIME to somebody

All useful.

MM - Drag Drop selected messages in pane to icon Forward in main

Now this would add very important functionality. At present there's no
easy way to send a MIME digest containing messages from multiple
folders. Simply dragging and dropping the selected messages to the
editor would be great.
