Re: The Bat! v2.03 Beta/33 is now available
Hello Stefan, On Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 22:37 GMT +0200, aliens probed Stefan Tanurkov and found: Here is a short list of changes: Did you change how threads are sorted? I sort by received time in descending order. Now the threads are sorted by the last received message instead of the first received message. Personally this would be best as an option in the view mode configuration. I can see a use for both sorting methods, though generally I liked the old system better. -- Thanks for writing, Januk Aggarwal Using The Bat! 2.03 Beta/33 under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Current beta is 2.03 Beta/28 | Using TBBETA information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Purge / Compress Address Book
Hello TBBETA, Has the purge / compress function been added to the address book of TB? IIRC it was discussed last summer that this was an issue when large numbers of address were deleted from the AB and the file did NOT shrink. Since I've been off list for quite some time, I don't know whether this has been addressed. Please let me know. Thanks! -- Best regards, Greg Strong Using The Bat! v2.03 Beta/33 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Current beta is 2.03 Beta/28 | Using TBBETA information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Mod: Top posting (was: help . login to beta site)
LG Please don't feel singled out Igbar. how could i when you used my name twice. LGThis posting violated the list rules regarding top posting. it will never happen again LG You'll likely get a more responsive groupwhen you post using a style that is comfortable for them to read andunderstand. thanks for that. as your email demonstrated I would not get the problem solved if I top post. So do I start over with a new email message and follow the rules in order to get the problem solved/address/answered? -- Igbar Foosenhopper MSN 8 helps ELIMINATE E-MAIL VIRUSES. Get 2 months FREE*. IMAP account purge server?
Hello TBBETA, Since I haven't used an IMAP account in the past I thought I'd dabble into it to get use to the functionality. My question is how do you get TB to purge compress deleted messages on the server automatically with TB? -- Best regards, Greg Strong Using The Bat! v2.03 Beta/33 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Current beta is 2.03 Beta/28 | Using TBBETA information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
