There is a problem with copying and pasting from Excel versions 2000
and higher. It will not work if there are spaces in the text. I found
that it would work if the space was entered with the keys (using the
numeric keyboard) 'ALT + 0160' and I put a button in my Excel toolbar
to call a macro which replaced ordinary spaces with ALT+0160.

However, I received a message yesterday from Ritlabs to say the problem
has been fixed; presumably it will be in the next beta.

2005-10-19 Thread Raymund Tump
Hi Martin!

If any umlaut or german special character is contained in the subject
the subject gets unreadable. (See attached picture)
There was no picture :-) but I can confirm the problem!

Always the same. Attachments are there to be forgotten.

The interesting thing is that this time the Ä showed up correctly, but some
of the spaces were shown as underscores.

I can't see any rule how the subject gets changed. In the example I wanted
to show if showed only the stuff after the umlaut which means that it cut of
about 20 letters.

Running well. My problem with the attachment pane, which was
apparently local to me in v. 3.61.12--but which I never did find a
cause for--is gone in v. 3.61.13.

See mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] for detailed
description of the problem.

A double-click on the attachment pane, in its external mode, snapped
it right into place on the left side of the message window, after I
had dragged it in.

I must admit, I haven't tried ALL folders, but on those I tried, the

I always sort on received time but the only folder I could get to stick was
TBOT, every other folder reverted back.

I created a view mode for the received column so that my newest messages are
at the bottom and applied it to all folders, that sorted it.

That is something different.

Umlauts denote a different vowel sound whereas the same diacritic mark
(the diaeresis in English) (¨) in other languages, e.g. French, denotes
that vowels should be pronounced separately.
