Screen display screwed up when changing font due to encoding
Hello everyone, I think I reported this before, but I'm not entirely sure... when I reply to Vitalie Vrabie's message in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (on TBUDL), MicroEd opens with a different font than the one I'm normally using. My regular MicroEd font is BitStream Vera Sans Mono, the reply seems to use a different font because VV's message in in Cyrillic encoding. Since I do not write Cyrillic :-) I changed the encoding to Western/ISO and as soon as I do that the font is changed back to what I configured. OK. However, the screen is not redrawn correctly, the new font simply overwrites the old, this leaves quite a mess. Please see the attached screenshot. Is this already reported and can someone point me to the BT entry, or can someone confirm the issue... ? -- Best regards, Alexander (http://www.neurowerx.de - ICQ 238153981) Unexplainable events occur constantly. Templates are not used for secondary addresses
Hello everyone, I've got some contacts that send messages from different email addresses. I've collected the different addresses they use in their AB entry. The AB entry is assigned to an AB group that has a specific template. When the contact sends a message from his/her primary address, the AB group template is used as expected; when they send a message from their alternative address, the template is not used. This look wrong to me. Confirmations and/or similar experiences someone? -- Best regards, Alexander (http://www.neurowerx.de - ICQ 238153981) I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. HTML and The Bat
Hello tbbeta, Does anyone know what kind of standards TB uses for HTML. I copied the following from a newsletter I receive: !DOCTYPE html PUBLIC -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd; html xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml; lang=en xml:lang=en head title Lockergnome's IT Professionals ~ February 13, 2006 /title style a {color: #900;text-decoration: underline; } a:hover { color: #80; text-decoration: none; } a:active { text-decoration: none; } a.adstrip_link:hover { color: #f00;text-decoration: none; } a.adstrip_link:active { color: #f00;text-decoration: none; } a.adstrip_link:visited, a.adstrip_link:link, a.blogad_link:active, a.blogad_link:link, a.blogad_link:visited, { text-decoration: underline; } a.blogad_link:hover { text-decoration: none; } acronym {color: #008000; } blockquote, #fairuse, .boilerplate { color: Navy;font-style: italic; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 16pt; margin: 16px 0 0 0; background: url(http://www.lockergnome.com/images/blockquote.gif) no-repeat left top; } This is just a snippet, but shows as XHTML and seems to layout how the content below should be displayed. For brevity I have only included a small part, but it seems to say that heading 1 should be of a certain size, color, font etc. TB does not use this info and instead seems to pick whatever font and size it thinks it should use. Is this just a way to sort of make it work or is this a bug to be fixed? -- Best regards, Stuart mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v3.70.09 Qigong (Beta) On Windows XP 5.1 Build #2600 Current beta is 3.70.09 'Qigong' | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
Re[2]: A draft folder
Hello MAU, On Monday, February 13, 2006, 11:08:29 AM, among other things, you wrote: M Hello Roger, Can anyone please tell me the outcome of the recent debate about having a separate 'Drafts' folder. I cannot find anything in the Bugtraq archive M https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5441 Thank you MAU. The subject was dealt with very comprehensively. I was thinking of proposing a simple (I think!) programme change which would provide a temporary solution to the problem of 'bolding' a virtual draft folder attached to the Outbox, when it has a message in it. However it is obvious from some of the comments in bt5441 that it would not *totally* satisfy everyone. I will leave the matter for now and hope that Ritlabs do something soon about a Drafts folder, though it's not clear whether they intend to comply with the request for one! It's still not clear to me why some of the key words I used in my bt archive search did not find bt5441.
