If you want to delete one message and not the entire thread then a
 separate key sequence is needed.

Nope, you don't *need* it. See what Agent does.

Just thought I'd mention this, because it's in the list rules and we
seem to have forgotten that we can do this.

This 1.54 Beta/49 thread is huge and rambling and the subject name
bears little relation to the topics it has spawned. When you want to
refocus a topic, don't forget to change the subject line (as I have
here) to say New topic (was re:Old topic).

I thought a thread comprised two or more messages?

AL Well, please _all_ who can - check Outlook (big brother) import too...

I've done so ... or better: I've tried ...

- Using Outlook 2000 (9.0.0.2814)
- Having PGP 7.0.3 installed, PGP-Plugin for Outlook too

I've _deselected_ the 'Public Folders' for importing, nevertheless
they were tried to import.
For not yet known reasons I got from about 50% up an error popup with
title 'Microsoft Outlook' stating it was unable to load 'PGPexch.dll'
for _every single message_ (at least it seems to pop up for every
message, confirming it several hundred of times the process bar went
on bit by bit every time).

The DLL is located in System32-directory, Outlook never complains
about not being able to load this DLL, PGP is working correctly within
Outlook.

Additionally this import is not able to be canceled as the 'Cancel'
buttons is disabled, using the 'Closing-X' of dialog form seems to
have canceled at least. (Of course only after I've 'OK'-ed the error
several hundred of times :-/ ).
Plus: this import takes up 100% of system resources.
This is quite a lot on an Athlon 900 :-)

I know this does not _really_ help, but maybe it gives a rough
overview about were to look ... Of course you don't have to hesitate
to re-request further information :-)

Ciao Pit

 They do ...

Not always. There are circumstances where the msg transfer hangs on
100% and doesn't continue. Then the buttons have no effect. You can
close the connection window though, but it hasn't any effect. TB still
thinks it is polling and i.e. can't be closed.

It's very odd that none of the accounts were selected.

JN This happens to me occasionally. I think it is due to TB! getting
JN loaded without the account that was last selected. For example, I
JN have two accounts in one group that is usually what I load. But,
JN occasionally, I will just load one of those accounts. If I load one
JN account which is not the account that was selected the last time I
JN loaded the group, then no account will be selected. At least, I
JN think that's how it occurs; I actually haven't tried to reproduce
JN it. All I know is that I can try all day to retrieve mail, but
JN nothing at all happens until I select the account.

Hmmm. I see. From your description you seem to be using TB! with
multiple users loading it as a different user with different accounts
being displayed for each user. This is very likely a bug confined to a
multiple user environment.

I don't run a multiple user environment here and this is likely why I
haven't run into the problem. I always start TB! with the same accounts
being displayed, i.e., all accounts.

2002-03-16 Thread Joseph N.

While a mutli-user environment would more likely result in the problem
we're discussing, that's not how it arises for me. My configuration
is as follows: one separate user with one account; one group with two
accounts, neither of which is that separate user I first mentioned. I
usually load the group with both accounts, but sometimes I will load
just one account or the other. As I say, I'm not really sure how the
problem develops, but I think it's due to the settings when the
program was last used.

What you describe is what I mean by a multi-user environment. You can
log on to TB! as different users, even though you are the one using all

Primarily, it should finally fix the excessive memory usage by RTV.

Work fine here now, thanks.

BTW: But for some encodings (for example: iso-8859-9) the displayed
text are messed up. The are missing some text and some normal text are
displayed as an link, Switch the encoding to none helps here. The
Plain Text viewer works fine at this messages.
