  So what was the reason?

I use a clipboard manager Named Arsclip had had inadvertently assigned
CONTROL-G as a global key to paste a certain clipboard save. I must have done
it by accident as I do not use the global hot keys in that program. I started
experimenting with that key combo in other programs (like Quicken) and it was
pasting that clip

Loose nut behind the keyboard :))

Is it possible to fix this problem.

The only thing I have tried is wether Control-G flags a message. It does.

Oh well. Since I switched from TB!4 to TB!5 clicking the left side-button (of
a 5 button-key) no longer leads me to the
next unread message.

It seems I am the only one who has reported/encountered this so I now either
have to load the software of the mouse, in
which I have assigned that button specifically to that action (solely active
when using The Bat!) or I have to use a key
combination to which I have assigned this action in PhraseExpress.

Shouldn't matter as it's a shortcut that's active when the focus is on
the message list.
However, I tried with rich text, and html (both viewers) and it didn't
matter, Ctrl-G kept on being Ctrl-G.
You wouldn't have a spare keyboard you could try, would you?

Works here too.
Existing shortcut disappearing is a suspicious symptom, this may signify a glitch elsewhere in the app instance.

Thanks Roelof. I figured it out. I started checking other apps and it was
PASTING something. It was a saved clip in my clipboard manager. It had that
combination on one of the clips. I must have assigned it accidentally as I
never assign those in that program

The bat is fine - the problem was between the chair and the keyboard

BTW it is called ARSCLIP and if you do a lot of copy /paste,it comes in handy.

Re: 5.1.6.9 Not opening some URLs

2012-08-08 Thread Rick
I was able to open this URL correctly in 5.1.6.8 and will not open in 5.1.6.9

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16K6m3Ua2nwfeature=player_embedded

The message is as follows - (it is political)

It opens fine when copying and pasting into a browser

 ---
 The Bat!
 ---
 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16K6m3Ua2nwfeature=player_embedded;
 - The system cannot find the file specified
 ---
 OK
 ---

Forget this one. After rebooting (again) it opens correctly
