Hello, This is still happening with 9.4.2 if responding to most HTML messages unless message is converted (opened) as text for reply. If opened as text reply and quotes will appear. If then converted back to HTML, HTML works as well as HTML is working so far. I made the link by myself; I copied and paste the mid from the headers and added "mid:" in front. How did you paste with "mid:", as it is not in the incoming mail? The HTML viewer should recognise the link evenif "mid:" is added manually, as the plaintext viewer does. But, in the middle of typing that last line The Bat locked up for a time, more than 10 seconds as I finally gave up and went somewhere else to see if it would remember what I'd typed that wasn't on the page yet. It did, when I returned to this message everything was there. It almost feels as if it's doing the first auto save after 10 or 15 seconds and that takes a really long time.
