Yes. It's a new feature. You can change the behaviour under Account | Properties | Mail management | Deletion, look for Purge Unread messages near the bottom. For individual folders or common folders, check the Deletion tab of folder properties. Can this have been your problem all the time? Shame on us for not asking you whether the messages were read or unread. On the other hand, your strange experience with VFs but not actual folders decreasing their count indicates something really was wrong. All my accounts show this feature as enabled. Was it introduced in any of the v2.12.xx betas? Can this have been your problem all the time? It was enabled. But now all folders are purged as they should. :) I guess the complete fresh reinstall (not just copying over) fixed something... -- Kveðja! This feature was introduced somewhere in the 2.x series, it's been there long enough for me to forget when it was introduced and whether it was automatically enabled or not. Was it introduced in any of the v2.12.xx betas? I'm pretty sure it's even older, but you upgraded from 2.12.03 and had not seen it, right? I was running 2.12.00 until about a month ago and I'm sure I've seen this feature for longer then that, probably it was introduced earlier but not enabled for you. But now all folders are purged as they should. :) Good to here! -- Regards, Marcus Ohlström Using The Bat! v3.0.0.18 on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4 PGP Public Key at http://www.canit.se/~marcus/pgp.asc Current beta is 3.00.19 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
